Looks like they were getting shit done instead of hauling stones which is honestly one of my worst pet habits.

LET'S BUILD GIANT WALLS THAT FORCE INVADERS TO ENTER THE FORTRESS FROM ONE DIRECTION DOWN A NARROW HALLWAY AND ARE ALSO INTIMIDATING AND HUGE AS FUCK

AAGAHGAHGHGAHGA WHY ARE THESE INVADERS ATTACKING THROUGH THE UNCOMPLETED WALLS NOW?!

Also why is there so much visible stone on the floor >:( jesus christ guys

Sorry, my fault. I lost 8 to 10 designated haulers to carp before I found the offending items and put 'em on the Do Not Touch list.

I don't understand. Why are your haulers being killed by carp?

You don't have to haul stone, you can hide it all with like two button presses.

Skip me this round guys.

I'm sorry but I'm too out of practice with this right now to do anything but ruin the fort.

You say that like anyone after you is any more qualified. I barely understand how Newbie's aqueduct works.

I was under the impression that Dwarf Fortress was an exercise in futility, as your doom is inevitable anyway? I demand Shinra go, especially since I can sort of understand screenshots with that graphical tileset.

The main point of succession games is to watch other people fumble around.

Not anymore, actually, as the most recent version is pretty easy. (By comparison to earlier editions.) Shinra's gonna have to bring his A-game if he wants to wipe this fortress out.

Not *that* tough, just build a bunch of buckets, dig a ditch, tell the dwarves to fill the ditch with water, and specify the carp-filled water as the source. :3

Or, you know, just reclaim the forbidden stuff in the pond/river.  It seemed to do a pretty good job of slaughtering a bunch of plebs!
