I already beat the City Elf Intro and the issue was taking damage. I don't think a +damage bonus to my off-hand or an extra attack move would make up for three guys simultaneously raping my "tank" NPC.

backstabs are useful when in the city elf intro, since yeah, neither of you can tank. You can semi-kinda trade aggro if you do it just so, and ideally nobody dies.

The spells Force Field, Crushing Prison, Cone of Cold, and Blizzard now have shorter durations and/or longer cooldowns. This ensures that combatants can no longer stun-lock each other by repeatedly casting the same spell.

dang, time to respec?

I have to agree, Arcane Warrior is so I can pretty much pretend I'm Bender.  I just pretend the fire spray comes out of my eyes.

Oh good I was wondering how the fuck I was going to get 25 Intimidate Checks on my Pure Good Warrior.

I think I'll go Neutral-Evil-Pragmatic Mage for my attempt at Nightmare.

Green Ronin's putting out a Dragon Age tabletop RPG.

I'm a little worried about the PHB and DMG in there being 64 pages each.  Might be a one-night spinoff game rather than something for epic adventure.

You can make infinite adventures by just following the standard Bioware quest format.

Brave Adventurers, once you are accustomed to our town hub and it's <Side Quests> and/or <Casual Conversation That Reveals Rich Cultural Heritage>, maybe you could help us with <Seemingly Innocent Quest>/<Colossal Herculean Endeavor In Multiple Parts>?

OH NO <ALL IS NOT AS IT SEEMS>/<THE GOOD GUYS WERE BAD, THE BAD GUYS WERE GOOD>!

QUICK!

MAKE A <PRAGMATIC>/<MORAL> DECISION!

BIG FUCKING FIGHT!

PHEW! Here are the <Consequences And Looking To The Future For Hope>/<Ill-Gotten Gains And Charmingly Ironic Twist On Cliche> of your choices!

Not that I am complaining mind you. The highest praise I can give Dragon Age is that I love KOTOR and playing Super Good Fantasy KOTOR 3 was right up my alley.

Thanks Doom, now I want Shale to be more like HK-47.

Shale is HK-47, it's not much of a stretch. I like it when he just admits that yes, he hates people, maybe we should go throw some off a cliff. Actual dialogue.

Hmm.. In the case of Branhka/King Golem, neither had any tricks to them since Branhka was complete cipher-to-psycho and K-Golem was straight up tortured noble. If they had eased up on the
LOLMAKEBROODMOTHER
than I might of actually been curious about her option, but it is just a dick move to go that way.
