Bioware really does not know how to design dungeons. They just make tubes and put monsters in them.

in dragon age, do they use the same three sets of tubes over and over?

Dragon Age is KOTOR 3: Fantasy Edition with More Dialogue Writing.

Make of it what you will from there.

2/5 Caves cleared. Thank God I don't have to actually use Ohgren.
Man, Doom's making war on hyperbole. Is nothing sacred?

:wat: I don't have to use him!? I- tha- :MENDOZAAAAA:

Correct. Only have to use him for the final little section.

Meanwhile, my copy decided to bug out, never meet Ohgren, and have a cinematic cut to an invisible person delivering his lines during the story events!

Farther on:
Hilariously, despite killing Loghain at the Landsmeet, sacrificing a demon baby and marrying King Allistair, Loghain was kicking around at my victory party and was pretty congenial.
(EDIT BY THAD: Spoiler tag fixed.  Boy I'm sure glad I waited to read the thread until I'd finished the game!)

Broodmother was as easy as Normal difficulty. Triple-checked my difficulty again.

Turns out the yellow strength tentacles? They don't respawn, they just submerge at 75% and 50% health. So they go down as quick as the lame white strength adds that come in every with them. Easy peasy.
Spirit Forge was irritating and tedious but not exactly difficult. I think I only had to take AoE spirit damage from it near the end because I got too close to pick up ghosts. But it was only 30 damage per party member for the lats 2 waves anyway. zzzzz.

Branka took two tries and I got lucky on the second one. Total wipe on the first because I wasn't even aware she was the master of the Mirror Image technique. I got lucky on the second one in that she spawned all four of them in perfect "hit me with a fireball" formation.

:( If you don't support Bhelen it is impossible for your sister to not hate you on Dwarf Commoner origin. Justice is a tough lot. And I hear Harrowmont's epilogue is tragilarious.
Definitely have hit the wrap-around point. Killing shit so efficiently is it's own method of crowd control. Even orange Ogres are a joke because they can barely strike more than one target at a time.

Guess I will do a tour of every shop in the world before I go see
Andraste's Sweet Ash.
The crazy guy in the Deep Roads sells infinite deep mushrooms, the templar quartermaster at the Magi Tower sells infinite lyrium dust. Where's my infinite elfroot guy?! At least I left the Deep Roads with more poultices than I entered it with.

Also just to laffo at Classic some more, did
Shale's second half
. Not just a Deep Road's skin dungeon, but a really good uniquely designed one. In your face, dude. Dwarven designs rule.

Most of Doom's disagreements with me seem to come from him making up what I said. That's cool. Lots of people do it.

Also isn't infinite elfroot hanging out in the elven camp? I'm pretty sure there's already a list of infinite crafting resources earlier in the thread.

Because I thought I should do something more helpful than just dick waving.

I'd like a list of which shops stock 99 of crafting goods.

Elfroot - Vwhatever, Dalish Forst
Trap Trigger - Dust Town, Alimar (and probably others)
Lifestone - Ruck, O Thaig.
Lyr Dust - Circle Tower

(All four of the below can also be found at the camp merchant)
Corruptor Agent - Dust Town, Alimar
Concentrator Agent
Distillation Agent
Flasks - Orz Commons, Figor's Imports (and others)

I am pleased that, despite pursuing Alistair at least as far as what amounted to a proposal when I went into camp, I was able to casually fuck Zevran without consequence.  That's just elfs, man, no big deal.

I hear the other romantic interests can get pretty jealous actually, you might get called out later. I've just never taken the time to formally rebuke Zevran(-20 good lord) and Morrigan actually approved when I told her I was already seeing somebody else. Just don't mention Luuuurve.

By waving your dick one last time, right. Jokes are hard, why is that Doom being so "mean"?

I wanted to do the Dalish Forest last. What a quzybuk.

Guess I will do another quick Denerim sweep and some side-quests. I have to say that Dual-Wield Warrior has been every bit the equal of a Mage.

Erm, actually I began searching for that immediately after my previous post and meant the comment as something of an apology for dick waving previously. A confession that I was being kind of a cock, rather than trying to contrast Doom being a wanker with me not being one. Welcome to the mildly paranoid parade.

As to jokes being hard, I'm bad at things when it seems like I'm being misunderstood.

For starters...

I'm talking about stuff made by people outside of BioWare. Along the lines of NWN modules. I also don't see how an interestingly styled deep roads area really refutes my hyperbole.

Soldier's Keep and Honnelth do that, but not the area you're describing.

I also find myself wondering what kind of post-game DLC BioWare would be making. I can't see them sending us to Antiva or Orlais (although that might be cool). What does a Grey Warden do when he doesn't have a Blight to make life interesting?
Shale's area is a deep roads dungeon.. that is unique, aesthetics wise, compared to the others. I think that counts.
I think anything user-generated is going to fall into the trap of Denerim's houses/back-alleys, actually. The Blood Mage warehouse really sticks out.

Yeah, Alistair was like what the fuck, but I told him it wasn't serious and he was fine with that.  Same as I told him about my pet lesbian, though she demanded commitment before we could actually get down.

Heading out to other lands will no doubt be for parts 2 and 3. I am guessing some new items that arn't really all that special or some areas that take place at the unused symbols on the Deep Roads map.

Somehow the inclusion of actual love scenes makes me less inclined to pursue romance in this game. I was all over Viconia though.

Just can't find a girl who'll murder farmers anymore.

Sure, some kinky shape shifting Lulu lookin' whore, who bitches about helping people.

Or some slutty androgynous assassin.

But Viconia made you WORK for it.

... Sigh. Loading up BG2.
