That only applies to Guy Justice.

Decided to turn difficulty up to hard since I have a good handle on the game mechanics now. Party is lvl 17 and am just about to throw down with the Broodmother as the first big test on wether or not I can handle it.

Broodmother is small-time, go do some Denerim missions that get you in serious trouble(clearing out bandits.)

Hard-Mode Broodmother and Branka DOWN. Things were much easier with two mages along for the ride since I could let my Bez/Reaver w/Warden's Keep powers, and starmetal sword beat the shit out of things while Wynne hovered around using her healing aura. Now to see how I can handle scattershot spamming archers+ Cauthrian(sp) at Howe's place.

Did anyone else get that patch that broke specializations? I did. :rage:
I thought you should know that there's a console update that did this and I'm afraid to uninstall it because I'm a great big :itsatrap:

On the last leg of the game.  Wow, generals are the first time I've had a combat challenge in while, playing on normal difficulty.

Yea, the one in the market was a big pain since he has two spellcasters lobbing healing spells at him. I ended up kiting him off to a corner for his beatdown.

Today I checked the top mods list for Dragon Age, wondering if anybody has fixed all my issues with the game yet.

The top-rated mod is a mod that converts the romance scenes into actual sex scenes.

Awakenings is the shit. My only complaint is the lack of returning party members so far, and the lack of tanks in the new roster, but the story is as deeply politically charged and morally ambiguous as ever as you desperately try to fight off the darkspawn in addition to the more mundane enemies you've made and will make. So far an excellent continuation of the story.

So, it seems this thing is about 20 hours long, longer or shorter depending on your success and how many side quests you complete. It's really more like Dragon Age Origins: Gaiden than a continuation of the original story. Apparently that will have to wait for the sequel, this is just a small tale in the life of your character, possibly for the length of a week while he cleans up this Arling. You learn a lot about the Darkspawn, and you deal with political intrigue, but it all feels like they could have gone a little bit further with it. Most of the loose ends that you would hope to play through are explained away in the final cutscene as it tallies the results of your activities and the fates of your party members. It's a great little interlude for the player craving more of the same world, and it definitely whets my appetite for whatever comes next, but I just wish had been a little bit more fleshed out in certain areas.

One area that it did flesh out to my great satisfaction is the skill trees. There are two new specializations available to each class, and a new line of talents in each of the martial trees available to rogues and warriors, putting them more in line with mages in terms of options and end game power.

Overall, good enough that it left me desperately wanting more.

Is it just me, or does the "rippedness" of my character when disrobed depend on the armor they were last wearing?

No idea. I don't normally strip my character.
