I found that I hated Dane Cook because during a long 'story telling' segment, wherein the entire audience was supposed to be relating to the story he was telling I was just like, this dude has charisma, but I do not at all relate to anything he is or has been saying. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I have never been, nor will I ever be, a handsome charismatic white upper middle class douche bag, I don't know. He reminds me of everything I've ever hated about every negative social situation I've ever been in. However, the worst type of comedy that is currently enjoying a ton of success is the 'lets be racist through puppets' brand of comedy that is coming out of Jeff Dunham, imo.

I always shave in symmetrical patterns, so if the shaver stops working mid-way it'll look like I meant to do it.

I have intentionally shaved asymmetrically and claimed it was the result of shaver malfunction. The first time I tried that, it was kind of blatantly false.

Why?  Social experiment?

When I had someone give me a brazilian once (it was weird, because it turned out we had a friend in common, and she wanted to chat about it while waxing my labes) she said she always does them symmetrically since people often wimp out in the middle.

I mean, he is the archetypal douchebag. There's no two ways about that. Even so, I find him entertaining as the dickens.

It's one of those things were I wouldn't ever want to hang out with this guy, but seeing him in action is just a hollar and a hoot.

Dane Cook is far from the worst stand-up comedian out there - that honor, as mentioned, goes to Jeff Dunham.  He can be pretty funny, but he's only good for about ten minutes at a time.  More than that and his schtick becomes tiresome.

Huh. My only exposure to Jeff Dunham are his Just for Laughs segments and I thought his act was pretty good. They were only eight or nine minutes each though.

Jeff Dunham used to be funny, but then he became popular amongst the Glenn Beck crowd, and he changed his act accordingly. Probably the most damning moment in his career, I think, was during one of his hour-long specials in which he made some crack about Mexicans when the camera cut to a man so slovenly whitebred he might as well have been wearing a beer helmet reading "World's Greatest Dad", laughing his ass off.

Why?  Social experiment?

Just to try something different, basically. There are hundreds of different minor variations in shaving styles, but they're almost entirely symmetrical because of conventional ideas about attractiveness and fashion. I've long had a lackluster dedication to the cause of personal unfashionability—manifested most commonly in my tradition of pairing whatever I happen to be wearing with inappropriately white socks. This was another facet of that, I guess.

I gave myself a single big sideburn once.

Didn't last long.

When I was shaving my unibrow away one time, I accidentally did it too far on the one side. It wasn't toooooo noticable, but I was suitably mocked anyway. It's mostly fixed it self now.

Now I always just pluck. It's slower but far less error prone.

Huh. I do this too.

Also, one of my friends* once shaved himself a Hiter mustache as a social experiment. Let's just say it didn't last long.

*Yep, it was Darryl/The Scout again.

I gave myself a single big sideburn once.

My stepdad had one giant chop for years, and would always be ready with a story when somebody asked him about it.

One time he told a little old lady that he used to be a black Muslim (he is a skinny Jew) but had gotten a complete skin graft, except for that one area under his ear, so he grew a giant sideburn to cover it.  The way he tells the story, she seemed to believe him.

I don't really have a noticeable one. It's just 3-4 hairs. (of course, they are cable hairs). But it's enough to make me extremely self conscious about it sometimes.
So I wear my glasses on those day.s

Hmmmm....  Embarrassing?  I used to suck my thumb until I was 9.

I hate romantic dramas and romantic comedies.  But I love romance novels.

When I'm bored sometimes I play on a 24/7 2fort server with RTD. And it's run by a clan.

Edit: also the respawn time is like 1 second.

Starr and I do that occasionally. Sometimes an endless heroic struggle is fun.

Actually, there's a really cool version of 2Fort that was re-skinned with the Egypt theme and then heavily modded (alternate passages, etc). It's quite a decent CTF map, though it needs a lot of players.

Mine isn't horrible, it's mostly just a few hairs. But, it looks much better when it's clear.
