I love Red Vines, but back when I was 14 a friend had some cheap knockoff licorice that was the best licorice that I ever had. A few months later, my mom dragged me to the Grocery Outlet and they had it and I begged her to get it... only to eat it in like a day or two, of course. The store never had it again, and I don't remember what brand it was or if it exists anymore.
My favorite non-chocolate candy of all time would have to be the Chewable Jolly Ranchers. They taste like Jolly Ranchers... but they're chewable like Starburst! And they only had three flavors in the bag: Green Apple, Watermelon, and Strawberry. The three best JR flavors ever. Shortly after I discovered this candy, I found myself unable to find it in the grocery store, until one day I found that a local gas station had them in stock. No other store in town seemed to carry the candy, so once in a blue moon I would make sure to fill up my tank at that gas station to get the candy... of course, after a few months, they stopped carrying it, too, and I checked the company's website to see that they didn't even list it anymore.
Chocolate-wise... I'm the only person I know who likes Hershey's Cookies n' Creme. Reese's and Snickers are also classics.
