I gave my brother a set of surround PC speakers; I only mention it because I got my mother to pay half of it as my Christmas present. It's fine with me; the only things I'd really want from her are a modicum of trust and respect and I know I'm not getting those ever. Getting extra money to afford my bro a cool present is as good as it gets.

As for what I got from my brother, I specifically told him not to get me anything since he already bought me that awesome SF4 joystick for the hell of it earlier this year (even though that wasn't actually for Christmas and he was trying to think of something else to give me before I stopped him). Just seeing the load come off his shoulders was satisfaction enough.

Since I don't have other family to speak of, that's about it. It's okay though, it's not like I could fit any more crap in my room to begin with.

You know, there's a tiny part of me that wonders why I'm not depressed about not getting much at all for myself, but mostly I feel content about it. Either I'm more broken than I realize, or I have reached some sort of Christmas zen.

Probably the latter.

So let's see what I got for dirty santa.  First up... Kayma!

Phew!  What a big box o' stuff!  Let's go through...

Yes!  Arcee!  A WOMANS!  Ready to be torn into now that she is contained in the tight bondage of her packaging, and-

Oh... right... we uh... we already own Arcee.

... let's move on.

Bidoof shows off the misc figures!  Plush Tweedle Dee/Dum, a playing card!  I'm a PC!  A pink duckie!  A green Goofy!  Yeah, that's pretty :derp: alright.

High Score handles the games.  That Star Wars game for the PC!  X-Box games I never played!  A kite!  A pokemon holographic coin!  A Dragonball Z playing card!  How cool!
...except we sold the X-Box 360 to a coworker of mine.  :nyoro~n:

Jesus presents: comic books.  Criminal!  A book that doesn't look comical at all!  An X-Box lanyard.  Jesus says don't be a criminal, or he'll flip out and wreck your market.

Quickman was supposed to show off the last one, but he can't seem to find it.  Oh well, I'm sure X will turn up later.

That's a lot of cool swag though!  Can Nekobasu beat that?

Let's find out!  Nekobasu has a great huge package too! :want:

What a doozie!

Robot Han and Chewie handle this stuff: it's CDs about being a dirty pirate!  It's Star Wars stuff!  An Ewok plush!  Starving Ethiopian boy Mace Windu!  And... well, see that tattoo Chewie's holding up?  That pile is all that tattoo.  That same pattern.  Hundreds of them.  :ohgod:

Plastic-y goodness with Brawl!  Fast food!  A dinosaur head!  Black and purple dude!  California Raisins and the Tang Logo!  A kappa on a little eyeball box, a hovercraft!  Solid pewter hairy russian!  Mind crush Seifer! Brawl fricking LOVES cheeseburgers!

OH FUCK MORE THAN MEETS THE EYES!  THERE'S DOOM ZONE DANGER WAITING FOR YOU.  Hells yes, McDonalds changables, a pretender shell to the transformer Roadblock, AND a dinosaur theme Mighty Max playset.  Olga's still hairy, no change there.

Holy crap books and stuff.  Baroness shows it off.  We have Doom Patrol!  Batman! Soul Hunter!  Tail Concerto (a classic I already own, likely gonna regift it next year  :nyoro~n:)!  Titty Poster!  Venture Bros porn!  Factory wrapped Rhapsody for the DS!  Vote for Cthulhu card!  Basketball game for the SNES!  Apparently nobody getting a girl!  And Suikoden 3 manga, which Rosen tells me is more fun than actually playing Suikoden 3!

What great hauls.  I wuvs you both.  Let's get married.  :cake: :cake:

EDIT: There were also some Fable Tradepaperbacks, I forgots to photograph those.  :nyoro~n:

ta did you get my box :(

Indeed I did!  Now that I'm back from Magfest, let's root through this fucker.

Pictures are all gonna be taken in the kitchen, as befitting the first item ...

A jar of poison!

A note!

With neat art!

Expired Coupon!

A d6!

Dragonforce T-Shirt!

Comic books!

More comic books!

Still more comic books!

This time there's a good one, though!

I think this is a sticker dispenser!

And of course
Bitch, I AM the prince of all Saiyans!

Also there's a memory key with a bunch of really bizarre shit on it.  RPG notes and a System Shock 2 install and LPs and a game maker and man was this an accident, do you need these files back?

This is some pretty awesome shit here.  I opened it last week, but had to hurry out and didn't have time to post then, so in the intervening time I think I've forgotten something that was in it.  Can't think of what, though.  Thank you!

Everything on the thumb drive is backed up on my computer, except for the LPs. I deleted them off my hard-drive after sending them to you, basically they're all the LPs I considered too shitty to upload. I thought it'd be fun to put you in a moral dilemma and see what you did.

As long as it's only legally binding in Nevada, I'm game.

May those Doom Patrol comics bring you greater joy than they did for me.

Here's the pics from the other day.

This package has passed the offical customs inspection process.

O Huckabee's choice of packing material indicates a man of wealth and taste.

Clockwise from top:

- The Politically Incorrect guide to American History. A nice counterbalance to my more politically correct tomes on American History (I think I'll put it right next to this one). With a Butternut on the cover, you know it's gotta be good.
- Command and Conquer Generals! But I don't play C&C! ... HOWEVER, my best friend ADORES C&C. I can assure you this will find a very good home.
- Street Fighter mini comic. Udon crew and panty shots - how can you go wrong?!
- A roll of american pennies! Honest-to-god capitalist running dog currency! All I need is a few more rolls of these and a sock and I'll be ready to begin a new career as an 'entreepreneur'!
- There will be brawl! There's only one deck, but that's okay - Koipond plays this game and has a dozen decks! Plus, this fighter looks like some kinds awesome one-eyed redneck sonofabitch! TIME TA' THROW DOWN BWOY!
- THE DEAD HATE THE LIVING. They deserve it, the scum! This should good fun for me, and even more fun for my schlock-horror loving friends. PARTY TIME!
- Another CCG! Spycraft the Sneakynessering! Plus this one has two decks! NO MISTER BOND I EXPECT YOU TO PLAY CARD GAMES.
- And finally the "CosmoJetz Windup", designed by Chico Bicalho. You know, there was a lotta cool shit in thic package, but this was by far the best of the lot. You wind it up and it flails around like a motherfucker - and that's it! Starr and I kept our pinheads amused for nearly an hour solid with this thing WHEEEEE LOOKITIT GO!

- Not shown: "IOU one LP". Now I'll have to go into the LP Dungeon!

*yawn* almost February? I think I'll post my phat loot early this year.

First up, from the lovely Lady Duke!

Team Rocket Lunch Box: Looks like lunch is blasting off again!
Assorted candies. Unlike Esperath's, they seem edible
Jing: King of Bandits Volume 1
Assorted comics, including:
  • Gunsmith Cats  :wheeeee:
  • Ninja High School :itsmagic:
  • Spawn  :serious:

Eevee, Pokemon Trading Figure (Eeve is my favorite :3)
Assorted pokecards
Assorted spooky erasers
Glowstick (for when you absolutely, positively need to rave)
Jirachi pencil topper

And, perhaps the crowning jewel,
Japanese nationalist headband or HACHIMAKI. Neat!

Next up, the engimatic Esperath... exciting!

God of Cookery DVD,  starring Stephen Chow Chiau
Doctor Horrible DVD
The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories by Tim Burton
2-in-one "The Pirates!" book by Gideon Defoe
Some sort of Pirates of the Carribbean... thing. May require strange camera.
Blaster Master for PS1
8 blinky football helmet lights
Snoopy bencils and hamster erasers
Bacon-flavored mints and toothpicks
Flavorless nihilist mints. Oh! Oh, I get it! That's funny!
Some sort of.... brain... gummies. The package is kind of faded. It's got an image of a cartoon face with poor tooth alignment chomping on them. I'm... I'm scared.

And the crowning jewel, Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young. Acheivement Unlocked: Interceptions Abound

Pictures possibly forthcoming.
