That always happens on the first playthrough. Learning telegraphs is 90% of the difficulty. Case in point, first time I beat Grace and Glory I got a bronze, second time I got a gold.

Whenever Bayonetta does her big kick attack, it sounds like she's saying FIZZBITCH

Bike riding section music sounded like Megaman X music, till I found it was from fucking Afterburner. This game is so fanservicey there aren't even words

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-O9iLfYVPo

While I was looking for this, I found some little shits on the Megatoyko forum whining that the bike section was TOO LONG and comparing it to the one in FF7. Fucking kids these days.

Surely you must be shitting me. Regardless, if you hate high speed awesome things with a lot of action, I think you're playing the wrong game.

I've chosen to do a quick play of Easy mode, so that I may get the Immortal Marionette accessory, as well as to score some supplies via Angel Attack and some easy Halos (I spent everything I made during Normal mode on unlocking all of the techniques). Oh, and I might as well grab some achievements while I'm at it (Kill so-and-so enemies with Iai-Justsu, freeze and kill this many with Odette, whip it good with Kusheldra, Taunt and kill a bunch of dudes).

Of course, I say I'm getting the Immortal Marionette, but I'm not even using it for Easy mode. I'm not that much of a wuss.

I only got to play it for a short while past the prologue thus far, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it.  If it maintains this level of awesome all the way through, I'm going to have the case framed and hung on my wall.

It gets a bit heavy on the cut scenes towards the end, cut scenes that get progressively cheesy and don't really merit watching more than the one time they're entertaining, but it pretty much stays at that level... unless you're rewatching the later cut scenes for some reason.

I've come to discover that there is a relation between the amount of damage you do and your combo score.  HOWEVER, the number of hits you do to cause this appears to make those platinums harder to reach.  As such, for much combo and death-dealing goodness, durga and especially kilgore are your friends.

I unlocked one of Bayonetta's alternate costumes. I had refrained from doing this earlier because I like the Kilgore hat and the Odette skirt too much, and they don't show up on alternate costumes. But then I saw a blurry image of the Queen outfit and noticed that it had the skirt and a witch-like hat (not as cool as the Kilgore hat, but not bad looking).

Turns out that's about all she's wearing. The Queen outfit slaps a skirt and a hat onto her Demon Summoning model.

I'm debating whether to keep using it or not.

They're okay.

ANYWAY: did easy-mode, the Immortal Marionette is in Rodin's shop, and I have shitload of healing supplies. Yay that. Now I'm aiming for the Time Bracelet, which requires beating the game in less than three hours (IE, I have to spend less than about 10 minutes per chapter).

And also doing it gets me closer to unlocking the Sai Fon weapon, which I just found out
are a pair of gun nunchaku, complete with a Bruce Lee impersonation
:jizz:

It automates your combos, basically. You press a button and Bayonetta kills the enemy with her own combo. I don't need it, but at least I can say that I got as close to 100% as possible.

its 100 chapters on AT LEAST normal.

Did you read what I put in spoilers, man?
GUN-CHUCKS COMPLETE WITH WATATATATATATATATATATATATA WATATATATATATATATA
. It'll be worth it. Side's, between my first playthrough, my speed through, replaying the same chapters in order to get even quicker playthroughs, and subsequently going through each chapter a third time in order to get Platinum scores, not to mention Hard Mode and Infinite Climax mode... I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it soon.
