It ends with you punching God herself into the sun. It's even a little mini-game; you actually have to guide God around all the planets in the solar system to insure she flies into the sun. Oh, and you kill a dude by shooting a piece of lipstick into his forehead.
Okay, I want to play it to do this.

yeah, that one.

combined with the EXPLODE INTO BATS power you can pretty much get out of anything.

also, with durga in firemode on feet, you can walk in lava without taking damage.

Something I learned pretty much at the end of the game: there isn't actually a strict limit on the number of items you can have in your inventory. The way the shop's set up, it makes you think that you can only carry 3 light restoratives, 1 heavy restorative, 1 auto-revive, etc.

But no, you can carry several items. Kind of makes me wish I didn't waste so many Angel Attacks just exchanging the points for Halos.

Grace and Glory are amazing. Not only is it just AGNI AND RUDRA BUT AGAIN, but Grace has the same spinning animation as Fire Leo, which is too cool for words.

That reminds me, in the graveyard at the start, there is a tombstone that says, "Red Hot Joe."

...so my firewall at work blocks deviantART and XKCD sometimes, but waves Playboy through?

If I didn't know better, I'd say the TSA was handling our office's network security.

And yeah, it's like they just went "Hey! This /cgl/ thing on this 4chan site is pretty hot!"

The game is pretty well full to bursting with references to other games. Hell, there are two whole levels dedicated to old SEGA games. It even features a few of Viewtiful Joe's signature moves, like the Red Hot Kick (here called the Afterburner Kick) and Ukemi (Bat Within), not to mention that her Panther form works exactly like Amaterasu.

ADDENDUM: Oh, and despite what Rodin may say, you do in fact get a chainsaw. You get it by Torture Attacking a specific enemy.

Final Climax Mode is both really hard, and a bit easier than hard mode.  It's harder because no more witch time.  It's easier because I have absolutely no reason to not use the rosary beads at all times, and they murder everything.  Unfortunately, high damage, low combo point rosaries make getting platinums just that much harder. :;_;:
