Priced To Move
« on: January 13, 2010, 03:40:22 PM »

This is a thread for active, present-day selling of goods. I suppose you could request goods as well.

Just try to keep things updated, edited to reflect properly what's moved and what's happened, etc. The more information, the better. The more up-to-date that information is, the better.

Anyways:

Items are generally used but in excellent condition. I use PayPal and am open to alternative ideas. Shipping added to totals below.

Meteos (DS): $10.
Puzzle Quest (DS): $15
Mario Kart Double Dash (GameCube): $20
Pokemon Battle Revolution (Wii): $25
Warhammer Online(PC, Unopened): $10

I haven't cataloged what items I have left, but I'm looking to push off some Warhammer 40k models.  Mostly vehicles, troop choices, and maybe an HQ unit for Eldar.  Those interested, please PM me.

What do folks think is a fair price for a sealed PC copy of Fallout 3?

I've got one hangin' around that I decided not to mess with because a: my computer can't run it and b: it's riddled with Securom.

Also of interest, a large quantity of pre 2.0 Mage Knight figures need to leave my home ASAP.  Contains various bits for Dungeons, handful of repaints too.  Includes the dwarf tank.

Huh. I don't know that I really need that many of them or have the space (space is reeeeal tight right now, no room for tanks and stuff, sadly), but I might be interested in a few.

International shipping would kill you (and me) anyway, so best to keep it down. Let me PM you a list of what I'm still missing. If you've got any, lucky me. If not, well, no big deal.

Mongrel: Amazon and e-Bay suggest $20-$40 possible real dollars.

I'd lean more towards the $20 myself because you can just get the game + all 5 DLCs for about $50.

Maybe toss it up on e-Bay and see if anything magical happens. And by magical I mean somebody thinks original sealing and packaging is serious business.

Isn't the Fallout 3 SecuROM just a disc check, though?

And can't you circumvent it by changing the shortcut?

Only the laucher has the disc check, which is what you'd use to change some video setting, the actual game executable has no disc check.

Is this in the wrong thread?  Nevermind, read mongrel's post.

And if you use the Fallout 3 Mod Manager you don't even need the launcher to pick mods and launch the game.

Oh hey. Hm. Maybe I can open that dusty box after all.

Not that my current computer can run the thing anyway. But hey, maybe that'll give me the right incentive to play Fallout 2 at some point.

I've got a barely-used pair of ATH-AD700 headphones and a Siberia V2 headset, both with their original (opened) packaging.  I'll give them to anyone who asks nicely o.b.o., otherwise they're just going back to their respective why-the-hell-isn't-there-a-place-where-you-can-try-on-headphones online stores, and that's just a waste.

If you're waiting for me to send you a package, it'll be Saturday.  Sorry, but my work schedule is too twisted sideways to be able to swing a trip to the Post Office this week.

If you are unsatisfied I will be happy to return your money.

I suppose you could request goods as well.
Video games.

Old video games.

I'd offer some but I don't know what I'd actually part with.  Even though many of them are crap and I pretty much exclusively emulate.

Cartridges and me just... we go back, man.  You wouldn't understand.

Guess who's having trouble making ends meet, and needs to sell some stuff to pay his bills? THIS GUY.

I'm not sure what any of this is worth, so just make me an offer, and we'll talk. All reasonable offers will be considered.
