Some months ago I half-joked that I would like a second PS3 for my bedroom.

Anyway, via completely unrelated means, I seem to have a second PS3 now.

It's "like new" (taken out of the box, hooked up, and went through the opening menus once).  All the original packing material is in it except for some random caps and twisties and such.  It's the pack that comes with Harry Potter atDH:P2:3D and a 30-day trial of PlayStation Plus, the latter I might just consume myself and the former I'm perfectly happy to pawn off some other way.

Putting this out here because I have f-all idea what I'm gonna do with it.  I feel really stupid for opening it up now (I tried to get some unwilling recipients to accept it as a gift and, well, my complaint that entertainment systems have gotten way too fucking complicated seems to have been validated).

I'm tempted if there's no one needier around here. (what is a reasonable price for a ps3 these days anyway? hard to trust Gamestop)

We're talking about receiving high-end consumer electronics that requires further $$ investment to actually make use of.
Even if Brent gave this thing away and paying shipping, it would cost whoever got it money.

Well, yes, kind of, I guess? The point is I can afford to buy a new PS3, I just don't think I care enough about PS3 games to do it at full price. Meanwhile, Blu-rays are pretty cheap, Greatest Hits are $20 a pop new, and the PS3 can read just about any video format off a USB stick plus is an easy way to get Netflix streaming onto a TV.

I'd like a PS3. Or rather, I like the idea of having a PS3, but I already do enough extravagant spending without one.

I'd kinda like a Katamari Forever machine. Which pretty much makes everyone else interested more qualified.

What I'd want is a Ni No Kuni\Dark Souls machine.
Does that make me twice as qualified?

EDIT:
Sorry for being retarded.
Also transliterating Japanese titles looks terrible.

I'm vaguely interested in a PS3 for various cheesy JRPGs, but I have no idea of where I'd put one and I can afford to buy one retail if I really wanted it. Put me below ...Classic, I guess?

(I like how everyone vaguely wants it, but not enough to just say "YES GIVE ME SONY MACHINE")

Yeah I'm not sure why you guys are trying to form a line here.  It's pretty much going to best-offer-unless-I-find-something-else-to-do-with-it.

Probably all the information you're looking for:

Sony today announced a new $250 console bundle that will include a 160GB PS3, a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 on Blu-ray in 2D and 3D, and download vouchers for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. A 30-day trial of PlayStation Plus will also be in the package.

I never saw any download vouchers but they might have been printed on the back of the PS Plus trial code.  Dunno.

$199 PS3 160gb + Free Game

$150 + Shipping's going to bring you up to (probably over) that much, and below that I feel like I might as well just stick it in my bedroom.  Hrm.

The free game more than the shipping, really; you can probably ship for less than $50 -- USPS is cheaper than FedEx and UPS; I managed to ship 50 lbs of computer and monitor to Maui for $50, and that was insured for $500 or so.

We have a Wacom ArtPad II tablet. It is in fact 10+ years old, but (hilariously) it's still sealed in the original box!

It requires a serial port (adapters can be had for $10 or less, I think) and the most recent drivers are for Win98, but if you have an older computer and are thinking of trying out a Tablet for the first time, it might still be useful. It might even be made to work on a newer OS with time, patience and a little computer savvy (at the very least it work in a virtual Win98 box, but that can be awkward).

I will ship it to anyone who will pay the shipping. I ask no more than that. Probably be at least $10 or $20 though (damn you Canada Post!), but I doubt more than that (I can get a closer estimate once I know where it's going).

I'm planning to start unloading a bunch of stuff in the coming months but my problem with INTERNET SELLING has always come down to the same thing: I am completely shit about estimating shipping and this usually comes back to bite me in the ass when some jerk in Canada wants something or the package ends up being irregularly shaped or something.  Most of what I'm selling SHOULD go just fine in flat packages or standard boxes, but still, any advice for mass-shipping?
