When I was in high school science classes they spent several hours a year explaining don't go mixing random shit together if you don't know what will happen to do dangers of explosions and poisonous gases. And definitely don't do something like that at school or there would be severe consequences. Shit's gotten crazier and crazier since I've been out of high school and they are really cracking down on that sort of thing.

And come on. Every single teenager in America knows what happens when you do that. And you don't do that at a school without expecting some crazy shit to go down.
Felony charges? That's pretty severe. I completely agree with expulsion here. I can
understand charging her with a crime in order to deter other kids from conducting other "science experiments" on school grounds. I don't agree with it but I understand that.
I'd like to think chances of her getting jail time are incredibly slim. It is Florida though so who knows.
