But you played Trauma Center? ... Actually, while i think of it as an action game, it could just as well be called a really, really fast puzzle game, i guess.

TF2- Roughly $6 for the game by my calculation. If I play it 2 hours a day for a month and have fun each time I am more than getting my money's worth.

Link's Awakening- Good puzzles, fun-but-not-necessary trading, and fantastic story.

.hack//series- The first four games together to make one game. Long, arcing storyline with characters that really make you care about them and the world around you. And the ideas brought up are great.

Crazy Taxi-YOU HAVE TEN CRAAAZY MINUTES

T.H.U.G.- Best skating game made. Because you don't have to focus just skating. Fun little tasks, you can walk around, fun gameplay, and good characterization. Multiplayer is pretty fun too. And the maps? Great design, nice moving parts, good for exploring.

There, that's better.
Well, technically not true at all.  While a lot of general qualities you can compliment FFVI on can all be attributed to FFV, V's soundtrack just doesn't compare to VI's.  But then, little does.  I do wonder how the series' history might have panned out had it actually come out back in the day as originally intended as Final Fantasy EXTREME.

I might also like Torgo if he changed his avatar as that is all I'm judging him on.
HAPPY NOW.

Guy looks kinda familiar...

Anyway, I guess in no particular order...

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles - Still love that game.

Metal Gear Solid - The original, I mean.

Jak II - I'd have to say the second one is my favorite.

Metroid Prime - Yeah, go suck a fat one, Alex.  I played this before Super.

Mass Effect - Soon to be replaced by Mass Effect 2, undoubtedly.

Speaking of which, hurry the hell up with my copy of Mass Effect 2, Alex.

Sorry Scarlett Brohansson, Super Metroid is still superior to Prime in every way.

Dude, be that as it may, Metroid Prime is still the first Metroid I ever played and thus has left an imprint burned into my brain to which I compare every other Metroid game I've played since.  I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

I have been informed that the link I made to the IFDB wiki for Interstate Zero earlier mistakenly connected to a Spanish-language version of the game. I fixed it there, but here's the direct link to the game in English.

Man, if that's how it worked, I would hate Metroid forever because I played Metroid 2 first when I was 7 and had no idea what to do.

For everything that it is: A fast-paced, approachable game that's content to let its players mash the attack command, but still detailed and intricate enough for even the most ardent stat-whores.

I'm inclined to believe that Roger has not actually played FFV.

Sure, if it was the only reason I liked the game.

Alex, you hate every Metroid game that isn't Super Metroid anyway.

No, I hate every Metroid game that isn't Super, Fusion or Zero Mission.

And probably Other M once it comes out.

Sure, if it was the only reason I liked the game.

Actually, it's still a bad reason, even if it's mitigated by better reasons that you did not provide.

This is incredibly unclear.  You could be saying you hate every Metroid game and probably Other M too, or you're saying you don't hate Super, Fusion, Zero Mission, and probably Other M.
