I had pretty mixed feelings about PotT.  On one hand, WoW could really use some form of non-gear progression at level cap, but I also think WoW has done better for itself by removing a lot of the artificial hoops one had to jump through before ever getting into the "good content", especially when it was just fancier glyphs and most of the functionality if not the process is still going to be in the game.

Hopefully they'll realize that since the playerbase is a bunch of awful whiney babies who will complain about literally everything, they can just use something like the ICC autonerfs to speed up the process for alts or latecomers and ignore the complaints about it disenfranchising people who did it the long way first.

Sounds worlds better than the old "talents are useless until level 40" system they've had since launch.

Lastly, this is just bad PR on blizzards fault. All the feedback, including mine is made of assumptions. And since change almost always adheres to bad assumptions, everyone gets mad at blizzard. They should of at least released 2-3 example talent trees so we know what they are talking about and we can compare and see if this would actually work well. Right now, most of us, including me, are assuming there will still be lots of 5/5 talents and with only 31 points per tree

They have 38-42 or so points in them. You could spend all 41 points in one tree, though often you'll want a 5/5/31 or a 0/7/34 build instead. Every talent is 1, 2 or 3 talent points. Earlier levels have about 8 points on them (typically a 2, 2, 3) and deeper levels have about 5 points on them (typically a 1, 2, 3).
I love the Internet.

People, get a grip of the info. You'll have to spend 31 points in 1 tree UNTIL YOU ARE LEVEL 70. Then you can respec the shit out of 11/10/10 talent builds.
I had decided I wasn't going to spend all day posting stupid posts but this one was just too good on too many levels.

Is this some sort of Azerothian unit of measurement we have going on here?
