Bal, you don't have to be an asshole. No one is going out of their way or expecting you to hold your damn breath. People just want to play with their friends on WoW, that is all.
And then Joxam proved he would have a horrible time if he ever transferred to Dethecus, the shithole server for assholes who love being assholes.

I will re-up for Cata for surez but it might be a little while because first I need level 99 and magical super dancer tights

Actually, the steady bumping of the FFXI level cap isn't as much as a time sink as you might think because the new endgame zone got me from 80 to 85 in 4 hours.

(FFXI is the game you wanted 7 years ago right now)

Well god damn, I was just thinking of transferring a toon because James, MY BROTHER, transferred a pally there and it would be fun to dink around with him and some of you other guys. It's not like I was one of the original members of LB when they started and..... OH WAIT, I was.... But that's beside the point, I didn't expect you to be waiting there with bated breath or anything, mostly because I don't actually know much about Bal or any of that shit. I like Rico, Sei, Hraeden, Doom, and Niku and would just be hoping to get in some play time with the bros, you wouldn't know anything about true bros obviously, because you're being such a dick. It's not like I expect to oust someone from a spot as CORE RAIDER just because I know you guys. Fucks sake Bal, you don't have to be so god damn unpleasant.

I wasn't actually trying to be a dick there. It's just every time a new expansion comes out the boards are alight with "oh I should re-roll on Dethecus, it'll be awesome", and then some do, and find out that it's not, and we're really xenophobic even with board members, and they go back to the communities they formed on other servers. I guess it came off unpleasant because I don't just play an asshole on the internet, I really am one.

Here's the breakdown: green text is fine; being socially obligated to carrying bads through non-trivial content is not.

to reiterate a little less abrasively, anyone who plans on transferring to dethecus shouldn't expect much beyond 5-mans and maybe some alt raids when the content is outscaled. both cliques and expectations have solidified to the point that you definitely aren't getting into (relevant content) guild 10-man raids and probably aren't getting into 25s.

if that's fine, that's fine, and don't worry. if that's not fine but you have money to burn, knock yourself out. if that's a problem, steer clear. if you're niku, we're all gay for you and the rules don't apply.

e: beaten to it by the guy who defected to an enemy guild!!!

Why does mmo-champion always do this shit with previewing tier sets on humans? They have the ugliest models in the game.

I don't think any race model is saving that white/light blue druid set.

Everyone uses the human model when data mining new sets because it's the default state of all armor pieces. The main reason being that human males are little more than coat racks.
