My BC Career:

Karazhan every Friday.
Arenas every other day.

Repeat until Wrath released.

Which is actually a fun-as-fuck way to play Warcraft!

Near the end of Karazhan, we started doing hilarious shit like pulling multiple bosses at once and not doing beams on Netherspite. Sure, I can tank Malchezzar, but I'm going to do it while NOT WEARING ANY PANTS.

I'm glad I decided to save most of the starting stuff in Cata for now instead of trying to do it at midnight. Making the first quest of an expansion a gather quest that both sides have the same area for felt like Blizzard just wanted something good for them to laugh at.

Since that, other than the 1:4 H:A ratio everything I've done has become the new best thing I've ever done in WoW.

I think the best thing from a storytelling and questing standpoint Blizzard has done so far from my experience was after the first zone change in the Goblin starting areas, for a moment it genuinely felt as though some npc asshole was actually blaming an entire disaster on me instead of the other putzy goblins running around at the time.

Wow I just decided to play around in the character creator a bit, and fuck Worgen so hard.  All of the hairstyles are literally slight details on top of a singular style you can't change, face doesn't change the snarling jaws models at all, and you can't change your hair color at all.  WoW isn't especially customizable with your character's appearance as it is, but jesus Worgen are awful.  You're probably best off picking your appearance entirely based on what you want your human form to look like.

You can make your Male Worgen form have gnawed-up "been in a lot of fights" dog ears. This is perfect for my Worgen Hunter, Vaquero, real name Raul Tejada.

Also did they just like totally ship the Female Worgen in an unfinished beta state, to say nothing of the voice work!

Deepholm is completely radical. Easily the largest interior space they've ever created, and Therazane, the Hodir of Cata, is about a million times better handled. Just don't tell Therazane that you've been to Maraudon. That probably wouldn't go over too well.

Not to mention that it has the best artwork I have ever seen. It's vibrant and gives you this great atmospheric feeling all around.

Probably so they could cut down on the yiff factor.

Leveling in BC for the first time for the first zone: "Well this is kind of neat...bunch of fire...really is hell but...wow, these quests are actually kind of annoying"
Leveling in Wrath for the first time in the first zone: "Well this is pretty and fuck yeah, vikings, but...okay, that was awesome, but everything else just seemed bleh"
Leveling in Cata, finishing Vash'jir:  :pop: :scanners:  :wuv: :wuv: :wuv:
