Hard Reset (Great but short)
Metro: 2033 (Great, scary, slightly short)
Driver: San Francisco (haven't played it yet)
Splinter Cell: Conviction (Haven't tried it yet)
Trine 2 (Haven't tried it yet)

Man, I had to hold back my arm like Dr. Strangelove to get that list that short.

Picked up Walking Dead from Telltale, Trine 1/2, and Darksiders.  Was gifted Saints Row 3, Alan Wake, some kind of incredible pony game, and Space Pirates and Zombies which I am still trying to decide what to do with because I refuse to play a game called Space Pirates and Zombies, Shinra.

I got the DLC that I  didn't have for Dungeon Defenders and passed out a lot of gift copies of Binding of Isaac/Wrath of the Lamb. I can't even rightly play Dungeon Defenders because all of my money is tied up and I can't buy a decent computer for a couple of weeks.

Oh well. I only spent like $20 altogether on this sale, give or take. Kind of proud of myself I suppose.

I got The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb, for a friend who only had the base game.

That's it.

Disappointingly this is what I consider a steam sale with little waste.

Arkham City
Binding of Isaac + DLC
Dungeons of Dredmor DLC
E.Y.E
Fable III
Hard Reset
Just Cause 2
Mafia II
Psychonauts
Sequence
Force Unleashed Pack
Vampire - Bloodlines
Ys Origin

Beat:

Fable III
Force Unleashed I

Haven't Played:

Hard Reset
Ys Origin

Considering I have at least a handful of games from when Steam first starting doing sales I have basically no intention of ever touching I'm happy with this.

Ys Origin, Sam & Max Seasons 1-3, Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate, Just Cause 2 + All DLC, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and The Final Hours of Portal 2.  Also BONUS ROUND Green Man Gaming dropped The Last Remnant to $3 w/coupon today, which is hilarious and a little weird after I've spent the whole Steam Sale clamoring for a special discount on this one weird JRPG.  Either the Brits have been tracking me specifically or I wasn't the only person doing it.

I have negative money right now, is that an acceptable excuse or was that a game that was worth robbing a gas station for.

Because I definitely could have done that.

Puzzle Agent 2, L.A. Noire, Torchlight (no idea why, but under $4), Hard Reset, Arkham City Harley DLC (waaay too short).

Definitely the fewest things I've picked up on a Steam sale, but most of the stuff I already had, wasn't interested in, or WASN'T VOTED UP BY THE FUCKING SHITASS COMMUNITY etwp-oinygws ewtgionASNF

I want to be mad about the community gimmick but honestly both that and the Flash Deals were on top of the usual number of daily discounted items, so they were pure bonus.  It did feel like a flick in the head when Last Remnant was put up against the entire Splinter Cell series though.

I sure do.  I need to finish them though, I've only played the first two.

Quantum Conundrum is pretty much what happens when you give Portal's designer a hundred thousand dollars to change teams but forget to hire off the writers as well.

Not to mention the playtesters.  Some of those puzzles reach such a level of finickiness that they'd probably have been rejected from Portal, or at least retooled.

I only had issues with stacks of more than 5 blocks, but I've heard it's dependent on how good your processor is.

Regarding Fortune Summoners, would someone please tell Carpe Fulgur LizSoft that quests where you have to go back to the same place three times, each time after triggering a single event in the entire vast world, are not good game design?

Tiny & Big is pretty good. It could have more design space (I kept wanting to use my rope to tow myself up or pull things around corners) but is very polished and holds together well. I had more fun sending rocks rocketing around than throwing fluffy safes, at least.

Carpe Fulgur couldn't do much about it; apparently the licensing agreement is so strict they couldn't get the full voice acting from the latest incarnation of the original, much less start changing the gameplay. In this case you'd want to have a word with LizSoft.

That said I enjoyed the fighting in FS so much that I didn't mind the backtracking at all, though clearly mileage will vary.

Doh, just realized 1. Carpe Fulgur is the localizer not the developer and 2. FS is not by the same company that made Recettear after all. HOW MANY JAPANESE COMPANIES COULD BE MAKING RPGS WITH IMPROBABLY AGED MOE PROTAGONISTS SURELY NOT MORE THAN ONE ZARA YOU TARD.
