So not only Poker Night has a pre-order hat, but you'll be able to play bonus rounds for TF2 items.

*sigh* Fine, who wants to four-pack this.

Is there a four-pack?  I see only the preorder discounted price.

Well, that's neat.

Watching the video I have couple of thoughts.
1) This'd be neat just to watch and listen to.
2)Jesus Christ, Tycho's movements look terrible.
3)Jesus Christ, Tycho's hair looks terrible.
4)Jesus Christ, what's with Tycho's voice?

At first I thought that, then I realized that it was more reading the strip for 5-7 years has caused my brain to 'create' my own set of movements and voice and such in my head. So my knee-jerk reaction was more or less "THAT'S NOTHING LIKE THE REALITY I ENVISIONED IN MY HEAD"

and then reason came in, kicked it's ass, and went "oh well that's still neat."

Well the voice I'll give to them. I just find it odd how... lackluster the voice is. Figured they'd make it more animated.
But watching the video, the movements seemed a bit jerky for him. And the hair was like something out of Final Fantasy, always moving.

I'd like a lucky rat hat myself, but eh.

As far as Tycho's hair goes, that thing is a physical impossibility. It hardly makes sense in the comic, it wasn't spectacular in PAA, and I think it's a valiant effort here.

And yeah, the voice is weird at first. Honestly, after listening to the podcasts and watching the documentaries, when I read the comic, I hear Jerry and Mike. That said, Jerry can sing and he can write a comic and he can clearly be a tremendously funny guy in a conversation but it's quite possible that he's not a verbal comedian in a context where you have lines to read and are addressing fictional cartoon characters with larger-than-life personalities instead of, you know, your best friend since small times and your work family.

Of course none of you are actually saying that Jerry should do the voice, that's entirely my first assumption. But going from there, it's gonna sound weird no matter what. I mean, there was a similar case with the PvP animated series (if anyone else here has even seen that) and the voice of Skull, which was kind of unexpectedly nasal and high-pitched, but it did work eventually, it was just a question of giving it time.

Unfortunately, GFW. That wouldn't stop be if I didn't hate AoE though.

AOE3 is kinda cool since you have like a CCG deck of powers you can choose as special shipments from your home nation back in the old world. also, all the nations are a little different in terms of workers, units, and all that kinda stuff. I really liked the Ottoman Turks, who only have one offensive unit, which was kinda novel.

Any nation that managed to fuck Rome sideways is pretty boss in the power department, tbh.

I wanted this game really badly when it came out; I'll certainly pay ten cents for it. Bought! Maybe some of us can do multi later on down the road, since at this price it might as well be free.

Oh, Hraedon (having instantly purchased it) mentioned that it actually comes with both expansions as well (Native American Beatdown and Asian Spice Fusion). So you're getting the game for more like five cents, given that the expansions weren't all that awesome!

Though China was really cool, in actuality, since they can't build individual units -- they buy "Banner Armies" which are mega-costly, but come with 4-10 units of mixed composition. So you can buy a bunch of spearmen with support from repeating crossbowmen, or guys on horseback with meteor hammers who come with complimentary flamethrowers.

Everytime I try to install the damn thing, I get two error codes.

Download of item failed.  Retry later.
Code: 80131620

Error retrieving key. Code: 80170106

Naturally, there is no where on any Microsoft site in the world that I can enter these codes to get help.

Somewhere a man is cackling, having stolen an E-Dime from me.

It's being chain-linked on 4chan right now, so the servers are most likely being brutally raped. Wait until morning.
