Aaand they patently refuse to lower th price again on the couple things I was actually going to buy.

$0 spent on Steam this sale season.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have some brick-and-mortars to go visit.

Oh hey. Dawn of War Retribution is now only $7.50! Look at that.

This seems to have been a mistake - it's now $15. The same thing happened yesterday with Terraria (it was $2.50 for a while and then they fixed it to $5).

I was able to buy it for someone at $7.50 before they fixed it.

Total spent: $45.80

Items purchased:

AI War with all expansions
Hitman: Blood Money
Lead and Gold
L4D
L4D2
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2

I'm still debating on New Vegas. How glitchy is it?

Nowhere near as glitchy as you may have been lead to believe. Particularly after about a year of patching. It's still in Gamebryo, and some things can't be saved from that engine, but it was playable at launch, and is in a much better state now.

FO3 Zombie Cherry
(FO3, but the point remains)

I'd strongly suggest the game. It's a lot of fun, and it's definitely playable.

I got New Vegas myself, plus Far Cry 2 because I had been thinking about it for a while. That's it though. I'd have wanted more, but there's that thing with having 100% of a rent to pay now that's holding me back in that regard. Those should still last me a good long while.

Magicka is 66% off today at £2.71. It's a very fun game and worth it for the singleplayer alone.

The complete pack with all the DLC is also 66% off at £5.77, though none of it is strictly necessary except Magicka: Vietnam (adds a new campaign-style mission, guns and airstrike magick for multiplayer, and Cannon Fodder in-jokes: all the other DLC is just equipment and arena/versus maps).

Don't forget to spend your remaining Summer Camp tickets on the Lonely Island Cruise Magicka map.

Zeno Clash is on sale until Monday for four bucks. That's a dollar per type of enemy you get to fight.

Back to the Future: Episode 1

Free. If it doesn't work, add 121 gigawatts as a coupon.

Great game. Voice acting is top notch, Christopher Lloyd actually is Doc Brown. Everything else I feel is amazing, but I'm a bit biased as it's one of my favourite series.

FotNS: Ken's Rage for tenbux on either console.

Ten dollars is suddenly a lot for me to pay for a (mediocre) video game these days, but it's still sorely tempting.

I've wanted to check this out, but I didn't want to pay more than 15 bucks for it. Perfect.

It's very much a game "For fans of the series". $10 is an excellent price for that sort of game.

See I'm a fan of both series which is why it's kind of hard, but the demo failed to impress pretty badly.

Also taking suggestions for new thread title since Steam is no longer the only reasonable option for games purchasing in this generation.

(Especially since it's gotten to the point where I noticed a receipt from Steam in my inbox and couldn't for the fucking LIFE of me remember what I purchased.  I guess I bought Puzzle Quest?  Apparently?  Is this what it's like when alcoholics find a mysterious empty bottle of Jack in their underwear drawer?)
