The problem with buying these massive collections is that you'll feel compelled to buy any missing pieces of the collection once they come down whether you actually have any interest in them or not.

Brink and Rage can go fuck themselves though.

The dumbest thing is that Dishonored has a secret bonus of making the quakecon pack cheaper, but really who gives a fuck about that? Give me a discount on the preorder.

You can't keep me from calling that game "Disbonered".  Just try.

For some odd reason, Steam gave me a 75% off Portal 2 coupon, and I already own Portal 2.  If anyone wants to trade something for it or just take it, I'll be online for a while tonight, so just send me a message or a friend request or whatever (trading and giving items appears to be done through Steam messages, and I think messages can only be sent to friends).

Everyone that owned Portal 2 got one; the co-op map creation tool went live.

Speaking of steam deals, I now mysteriously own all of the Fallout New Vegas DLC without ever purchasing any of it. I am not going to second guess you Steam if you want me to have it then I will take it.

Did you consider the DLC at any of the Steam Sales? Those things have a way of making you drunk.

If you bought Fallout: NV ultimate edition this last steam sale (it was 9.99) you got all the DLC with it.

No, I didn't buy anything that would have given me the DLC. I just magically own them now.

$22.50 for the first four DLC, as soon as they become available.  Not sure if want really, but there it is.

I guess DLC packs selling before the game actually releases was the next logical step.

They are really following Saints Row 3's example. At least with this you will probably get more than 2 hours entertainment.

Can I interest anyone in some roses? Maybe some wars there-of or four packs? (If somehow no one else does I have the M&B pack discount)

GoG.com is offering a free copy of Realms of Arkania 1 and 2 if you fill in this survey.

The deal expires tomorrow, so hurry.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has a similar deal but for a while their marketing had fucked it up. They said when the game was being advertised that it would have a "subscription" component, which made a lot of people say "what the fuck are you talking about Activision" but ultimately the subscription was just a Season Pass + some social network thing that nobody on the planet gives a single fuck about.

The subscription is buying their new game every year.

Binding of Isaac + expansion for $1.98 on Steam if you don't have it already.  Expansion alone is 74 cents.

Someone figured out a thing that has the chance of fixing all of your problems. A lot of people are reporting that this makes steam actually load pages in a reasonable amount of time. I tried it and it worked for me. Some people are also saying that it is improving some other things on the internet as well, like hd streaming from youtube. Does anyone know what that setting does?
