As for teams, I was told Cait is team captain, and will pick from the rosters as he sees fit for each round.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ryg: As has also been mentioned, those are tiers to determine who is put onto the team on Saturday. The official rules are the official rules, as linked earlier in this thread. As for definitive teams: See the first sentence. Ideally, the teams will be the 9 primaries and a rotating selection of 3 other people. In practice, we'll play with what we have.

Point is guys. I know we've played nucleus to death. I know that we are bored with it and blah blah blah. However, that's the fucking point. We know what to do, when to do it and how to do it perfectly there. That's what 'home field advantage' is all about, guys. Put aside your want to play something fresh or new. This is war, men.

That's completely right, but the exact same thing hold true for Sawmill.

This isn't about boredom or personal map preference. It's about what environmental dangers we think would best help us: The saw blades of the yawning pit.

Nucleus or Sawmill, definitely. I almost want to say Garbage Day, but thats unofficial and is sorta hard to stomp on. My nod is to Nucleus as it lends it's self well to a lot of our best players. Our spies can be dicks, are snipers get a lot of sniping, we'll probably have a demo or two and Patito and I always do well as soldier on it.

I'd be shocked to get beat full force on Nucleus.

I voted for nucleus because their snipers use guns and not bows. Spawn camping on sawmill is a rifleman's game.

Nucleus: 3 (Probably 4 with Kayin, tentative 5 with Mongrel)
Sawmill: 1 (Tentative 2 or 3 if kayin/mongrel swap)
Viaduct: 1

EDIT: Also, we need to get the voice of the people who don't usually post here involved. If someone wants to take up some pestering at the nightly gathering, it'd be obliged.

I am actually neutral on the KOTH choice, so long as it is either Sawmill or Nucleus. If my vote is required to break a tie, I will cast it, but otherwise I'll concede to the judgment of our more skilled players. Really, I'm okay on either. I can do surprise sentries or rocketry on Sawmill, or just straight-up rocketry on Nucleus.

I just wanted to raise Sawmill as a solid possibility, since we practice on it every single day we're on the server and also because nobody else had really laid out a clear argument between the two maps yet.

Anyway, the vote seems to be close-ish, so MAKE YOUR FEELINGS KNOWN, DINO-RIDERS.

My KOTH nomination is probably irrelevant.  I'm not likely getting picked for that match anyway, more likely the defensive aspects of CTF and CP if anything at all.
