Goddamn, I'm so out of practice with Resident Evil that I died almost immediately in the RE5 demo. ::D:

Bleh, the Wii(a)bo lasts about a week on one set of 4 AA batteries.  That's not Game Gear terrible or anything, but for such an immobile object you'd think they'd give you the option to use a power adapter.

I happen to have rechargable batteries that aren't being used for anything else, but still, bugs me.

I totally got into the Global Agenda alpha. Should I test it on Win7?

Only if they're trying to offer Windows 7 support already, because otherwise you're gonna be "that guy"

You know, the one that posts bugs on the WoW forum that he gets from running in Linux with Wine and QA looks at it and is like "Uh, thanks".  If they aren't actively testing/developing on a given OS, they don't have anything set up for it, and there's no way for them to investigate, verify, and fix.

also: that Shaymin thing is a super secret legendary whatever?  It looks like a grass starter.

I have been playing a lot of Fallout 3, so now whenever I see Bongo's name, I remember how much I want to stay in the Congo. :wuv:

I died twice and gave up on the Chainsaw fucko.  First time I got cornered and was nearly dead anyway, the second time, he immediately kills the idiot AI as soon as they're both offscreen.  :MENDOZAAAAA:

Also, the Megaphone does CRAZY damage to you in the other level.  Like, equal or greater than that of the fucking giant axe guy!

So I was playing good ol' Tetris DS while waiting for a class to start this afternoon, and I leave pika ds in sleep mode a lot.  I mean, it prolly spends more time sleeping than being played.  Anyway, I'm sure I beat my previous record of number of levels, and it was getting fairly crazy hard when I was playing yesterday.  I open the DS today, and there's an error--"DS cartridge has been removed.  Please turn off DS and re-insert cartridge" or whatever the fuck it said.  I'm really wondering what the hell.  It wasn't out and pika ds has a growing reputation of not reading carts.  Is it because it's japanese and hates me, or is this DS broken and I need to send it away to be fixed?

I'm enjoying Paper Mario.  It's fun.  I still don't like it as much as TTYD, but I have a feeling that perhaps if I'd played Paper Mario before TTYD, I'd like it better.  A lot of levels and partners are very similar.  The boo mansion makes me think of Creepy Steeple, only I like Creepy Steeple better.  And I like Bow a lot and she's certainly my favorite partner in Paper Mario, but Vivian is cooler.  Vivian is just the best ever.

Regardless, I have enjoyed the boss battles, but I find it to be sort of the opposite of TTYD in that I have a much more obnoxious time dealing with stupid enemies than bosses.  In TTYD, you just want the boss to die, and in Paper Mario, you beat a boss and you're like "That's it?"  I mean, Lava piranha wasn't hard, but I was surprised when it came back a second time and I had to beat it up again.  Not hard, just surprising.

I'm calling Blueful a game, even though it's just a story, not really very interactive.  It's written on the internet.  Literally: it's digital graffiti.

It doesn't make a difference as far as I know but I've never tried to go without it.

What?  No.  Why would you do that.  That's, like, the hint system.  But hints are completely unnecessary, since pretty much every page has the next page listed right there.

I can't make you care, but I can make you understand.

Every page typically has some text or other media, followed by something like this:

--(url.internet.com)-- :: "keyword"

SPOILER: copy or type in the url contained between the parentheses to get to the next page.

Maybe you guys can help me out with this.

I'm looking for a game that resembles Harvest Moon in any way, shape, or form. I have a modded custom firmware PSP and DS with a M3 card, and would prefer something for either of these.

I've got HM DS, Rune Factory (unplayed so far), Friends of Mineral Town, and Back To Nature between the two.

I hate Island of Happiness for forcing you to move with the touch screen and Rune Factory 2 for not just having characters I don't care about, but making me actively look for a way to burn down the entire town about an hour in.

Anything that requires the relationship and place micromanaging is great. Doesn't have to be a farm and having RPG elements is a plus (See: Azure Dreams, Thousand Arms).
