What if it grabbed your arm, and stating wailing on you with your own fist, all the while repeating "Why you hitting yourself?"

Doesn't Sam & Max have SecuROM on it?

Yes and no.  It uses SecuROM for the online check, but nothing actually gets installed on your computer... at least the last time I checked.

(PS Ice Station Santa is v. good episode.)

I was looking through my steam account today and it looks like I have a guest pass for Team Fortress 2. I don't know the details of the thing, but if anyone here doesn't have TF2 and wants to try it, send me a PM or something.

...but really, doesn't everyone already have TF2 by now?

Iji makes my computer reboot after smashing either the first or the second crate on the floor at the start of the game.

Third attempt at forging a "Almost" item. Got to 18 anvils of 20 and NO MOVES on the initial random drop.

Threw controller. :MENDOZAAAAA:

So there's this game on XLA called Braid. It's... pretty great.

It's a 2D side-scrolling puzzle/platformer in which you run, jump and turn back time. Also, it's really fucking pretty and has great music.

Looking forward to a Braid PC release. Then again, I'll probably cave and buy an Xbox the second they drop the price, and promptly buy Braid. I can't wait to see which happens first!

Finally, I'm getting to games I haven't actually played before!  It'll be new and exciting, except for the fact that I probably already know most of the plot!

I forgot how much of a damn twitch-action game HL2 becomes in its final half.  Pretty much starting with the turret sequence I gave up all pretenses of trying to outsmart the enemy and just ran fast while trying to be the first one to shoot when I saw something moving.  It may as well have been Doom.

Sunday has come and just about gone, and I managed not to run out and get an Xbox. Start taking bets on when I cave.

I'm about halfway through Digital Devil Saga, and I'm still not sure if I like it. The combat is admittedly addictive, and I enjoy eating my enemies and gaining mantras. Story-wise? Eh. I'm still not sure what's going on. The game definitely scratches the grind itch, though.

You're in the Junkyard, and you have to fight for survival. The Karma Society has decreed that the law, and whatever the Karma Society says, goes. No questions asked, end of story. It's like an ingrained reflex to do whatever they say.

Anything beyond that hits spoiler territory.

That's basically the part I don't get. So, maybe upon that big reveal I'll be blown away and totally  :wuv: the whole thing? Time will tell.

Almost done with Sam and Max season 2.  Chariots of the Dogs was excellent.  Great reuse of locations and the puzzles were definitely a step above the arbitrariness of Moai Better Blues.

Yes. If you keep on trucking, you'll learn why.
