I see the Statue of Liberty. Is this a Planet of the Apes RPG?

I've just finished the Torchlight demo. It's basically what Titan Quest wanted to be (and by extension, what I wanted Titan Quest to be), by which I mean an excellent Diablo clone with the gameplay wrinkles all ironed out. It looks good, runs well, and sounds incredible. They got Matt Uelmen to do the music, which should mean a lot if you've enjoyed his work for Diablo (natch). I don't hear people talking much about the music in Diablo, which is weird because it is awesome, and Torchlight definitely has that good stuff as well.

In any case, I've had fun, but here I am, sitting in front of the 20 dollar price tag, wondering if I even still want an excellent Diablo clone with great music.

Mmmmmmaybe.

It isn't really steampunk and it isn't just London, though. Other than the airships there isn't anything anachronistic about it at all yet.

K been playing tekken 6 for awhile. Havent even touched the actual gameplay as I have been playing too much tekken force. If you liked it in 3 you will like it here. It's given me a idea of who I want to play in the main game though. Lars, and bob are way too awesome.

Also: airships have been around since the 1700's, so it's not actually anachronistic.

Borderlands is pretty amusing.  Dunno if I'll get much multiplayer time out of it, though.  Kinda chugs on the PS3 if too much is going on.

Still, I've not had the joy of listening to so many burn to death. :want:

Tekken 6 is great, except for Namco taking a page from SNK on how to make a final boss.  Except they only took the page that says 'Annoyingly cheap'.

After Jinpachi and seeing gameplay footage of the tall drink of water that they're calling a final boss in Tekken 6, I think I'm done with Tekken.  Thanks, Namco.  Stick to Soul Calibur.  And while you're there, do better with it.  You hit it out of the park with Soul Calibur 1, and it's been downhill from there.

Everything else in Tekken 6 is okay.  Scenario Campaign/Tekken Force mode is a nice, easy way to earn items and money to buy the customization stuff.  It probably would've been better off as a full on brawler rather than a kind of wonky 'Tekken but only using standing attacks'.  I like it overall, but there's room for improvement.

Dear Namco,

You know what was awesome?  Soul Edge/Blade's Edge Master Mode.  Not this shitty Weapon Master Mode from SC2.  I mean the good stuff, travelling from place to place with my friggin' story book thing filling up and showing me what weapons I just picked up.

Bring that back without touching it.

Love,
Alex

PS: Bring Li Long and Hwang back, make Rock not fucking suck anymore and character creation better.

I honestly figured out how to get around Azazel now. It's really simple once I figured out how to sidestep properly.  The Co-Op mode for tekken 6 will be great when that comes out. Also if you havent been to Nightmare Train yet it's a pain. Though I do like the multiplayer for the fact I can play anyone and be at least partway decent.

It is not a videogame but recently a friend sat down and played banana's with me, a game where you basically build a crossword puzzle with incrementally more letters.

One of my crosswords had the word ROYALS linking SUGAR and TITS. I was pretty proud for some reason.

So, I just figured out that track editor for the SNES version of F-Zero. I'm now torn between making a course based on either my morning commute or my malice for other players.

Or maybe I should first focus on getting it to stop telling me that I'm driving backwards.
