Been doing more Grandia III. I'm pretty much at the end of disc 1, and this time I'm not going to make the same mistake I did last time. By this I mean I am going to grind my characters into the ground.

Playing Throne of Bhaal, Kensai/Mage is super badass now that I've got all of my ass-kicking Kensai powers back.

Need to redownload Eastern Sun some time when WoW/CoX/Civ IV/Bioshock/TF2 isn't destroying my free time. Playing a paladin in that is like crack cocaine for me - /players 256 and HOLY SHIT I AM AN ANT IN ACT 1 but I love it so much.

Um, yeah. Played through Bioshock - fun game, but I need to do it on evil and hopefully not get .. well, what happens in the good ending. It pissed me off. Tagging the sentry guns on something and then setting off an alarm was my preferred method of raping Big Daddies for the majority of the game, and everything else fell to increasingly larger numbers of bullets. Final boss went down like a bitch to my fully stocked and powered up grenade launcher.

WoW - I finally got back into WoW, and rolled a BE Warlock on Moon Guard. Warlocking is what I was born for in this game. Fuck hunters, fuck mages, fuck warriors, 43/18/0 warlock is Where It's At.

I don't think I'll go much past Kara unless a pickup group wants to drag me around (rofl.) I don't want to be involved in serious raiding. I'm having a blast gearing up for it, though.

CoX: Since the last DXP Weekend I really haven't played much City of X, but I'm getting back into it just in time for the next DXP Weekend, god help me. It's a hell of a lot of fun, though. I sort of feel like I've 'beat' City of now - I've got 6 50s, I've seen all the content except for Cimerora multiple times, and I did 66 out of 72 fucking hours of 'Welcome To Vanguard', and it just killed me.

Civ IV: well, I downloaded it. Um. ..

I'm thinking about getting Hellgate: London to play through it once, maybe download The Sims 2 plus expansions (over the next year straight) and try it out. Most of my new games and such are indie games I find on Jayisgames or Kongregate or get linked to on Kotaku.

I've still got a copy of Siren for the PS2 I haven't cracked open yet. I keep intending to..

BattleField: Bad Company.  Makes me glad there's a decent shooter that's only on consoles that doesn't make me rip my hair out like Halo.

Multiplayer on this has a good bit of polish.  There's a bit of glee when you can smack C4 on a helicopter, wait for someone to take off in it, and detonate it so you are harmlessly showered in helicopter bits.

Just reload the last save you've got where there are still Little Sisters wandering around and harvest one.  You only need one.  Or you can just go watch the bad ending on YouTube.  It's all you're missing.

You were dissatisfied with the "good" ending? That's interesting; I only played through once, messily devoured all the Little Sisters, and I was tremendously dissatisfied with the "evil" ending.

Honestly, I think the whole game just kind of went downhill, hard, after
you kill Andrew Ryan.
So I'm still playing the Grandia III, and I have to say:

Man, fuck you, Grandia III. Seriously.

It wouldn't be so bad, actually, were it not for the fact that, for whatever dumbass reason, they decided that Save Points shouldn't heal your characters anymore.

This was honestly Grandia's greatest contribution to gaming: Save Points that heal all wounds instantly. It was something even Final Fantasy unabashedly ripped off.

Rather, don't bother will Hellgate: London, because now that Flagship has closed it'll probably never finish receiving the polish and patches that could have made it really shine.

Strongly agreed.  I was disappointed with both endings.  And the last boss.
And the lack of a drill as a Big Daddy.
And the bonuses for being good.  And the lack of a middle ground.

The first bit was so damn good, but then, well, the gameplay was still good, but, the story, levels, and well, everything just kinda sucked in comparison towards the end of the game.  I think my biggest disappointment was the
true identity of the main character.
Tents were negligably cheap in Final Fantasy at least as far back as IV.  I don't know before then because I really don't like any of the games they didn't bring to the US.  I WONDER IF THERE IS SOME SORT OF CORRELATION

Flagship hasn't closed.  There were layoffs.

I hate to say it, but this is sort of what you get when you make a deal with the devil that is EA.
