Capcom put the soundtrack on iTunes as a promotion.

Bal, you are my hero.

Now that I've worked myself into a frenzy after descending 32 goddamn floors in Tower of Souls, onto something more mindless!

Like defeating some officers.  God bless you Button Mash Warriors 6.

You could always try buying and selling on the auction house.  I made 500 gold in a day doing that.

People are willing to spend crazy amounts on enchanting stuff.  Usually more than any green item it came from is worth.  Proper buying and selling can net you huge amounts of profit.

I also started playing WoW again recently, mainly so Envy can get his Zhevra mount, but also to give it one more try before Warhammer.

I've actually just been doing every single dangling quest and selling everything sellable on the Auction House.  I've made about 1600g over the past three or four days, but that only gives me a total of 2766g at present.  :(  But hey I need to grind out birdpeople anyway and they carry silver (because fuck gryphon things i want a vampire manta ray).

the real problem I am running into is that I now have like 20 group quests and lol at finding groups

You've joined in just as burn out is setting in for most people.  A lot of those group quests were already done, so now people are either in the raid game or are doing battlegrounds over and over again for easy epics.

While I'm totally aware of this, all I want to do is kill the three elites so I can open up Ogri'lar and get a few more birdman daily quests.  :(

Warhammer.

A friend of mine is in the "Beta wot is closed." The game reminds me more of CoH than WoW. The environments are pretty and the graphics aren't too shabby. Apparently all the classes are different enough to warrant multiple characters, though I only played up a level 3 marauder mutant-arm dude, so no idea how accurate that is.

You can enter Nightmare and Hell with a single-player character.

Unfortunately you have to get a multiplayer character to that point to make it work.  With a multiplayer character of a high enough level, go and create a game of NM or Hell difficulty.  Then exit out, and start up a new Single Player game with your old character.  You'll be in that difficulty.  That's how I remember it working, anyway...

I'll try it, thanks.

Edit: If I can find the disc! What the crap happened here?

One sentence suffices to describe the worth of Bionic Commando Rearmed: it makes the original obsolete.

That is all.

I actually paid money for Space Siege.  Not the utter suck party it's hailed to be, but them again, I typically enjoy bad games.  However it deviates from the norm in a few ways.  It's like Dungeon Siege, only without an inventory system or loot.  There's like a total of 9 guns, and the cybernetics have this shadowrun feel due to the ENORMOUS 'Humanity' guage in your character info tab.

It's a graphically impressive run and gun, but the skill hotkeys were horribly laid out and do not appear to be remapable. It uses 1 to 10 and F1 to F10 for your robot buddy.

Beyond your robot buddy, there are no party members to gather.

Also I like the voice actors, but it's mainly because it's Batou, Major Kusanagi, and Spike changing their tone of voice slightly to voice pretty much everyone in the game.  But you know what?  Their voices are awesome so I don't care.

The plot is the most dry thing in the world, and they railroad you to everything so even the most obtuse idiot can figure out the plot miles before the events happen.

Turns out this actually uses the new Nvidia PhysX driver.  There's a lot of exploding objects, bouncing crates, and pressure filled canisters that zip off and explode if you so much as look at them funny.  They even make FIREWORKS noises.

Game actually has some replay value, as the plot forks at a particular point.  Though you should really just save right before the fork.  (When you get to it, load the autosave that occurs like fifteen seconds before.)

TLDR; Graphically impressive game that has no new gameplay to offer.  If you like games that put you against endless wave after wave then you might get some enjoyment out of it.

When I played the demo, I spent parts to upgrade my assault rifle, and ten minutes later they said "Here, have a minigun that is superior in all regards" and I went "fuck!"

How does that work? Do they keep giving you new, better weapons throughout the game that your old upgrades won't transfer to, making them obsolete? Is this one of those fucked-up things where I'd want to hoard all my parts until I had all the weapons so I knew which one was my favorite?
