Kojima weapons sounded great in theory, but I never bothered getting use out of them.

Mirror's Edge. Why would you build this absolutely gorgeous game and then make all your cut scenes in flash you fucking idiots?! It's honestly confounding. You'll have just traversed a breathtaking series of rooftop vistas, evaded police through lovingly rendered tunnels and streets, and then it cuts to something from Newgrounds.

I was playing mirror's edge and getting bored with the way every single area was basically totally linear and not actually interesting and then it crashed and I haven't played it since.

Moral of the story: always trust to a whop GameFAQs nerd to bring a knife to a gunfight.

Did you mean wop? It's an acronym of With Out Papers. Racial slur more serious.

The question is, what are you prepared to do about it?

Playing Metloid Prime 3: Corruption again. It's a crime how the Metroid Prime games don't get more credit for how awesome they are.

My sentiments exactly, Spram. Metroid Prime 3, in particular, controls so sublimely that I don't understand why each American child doesn't pray to its alter each morning before school.

Looking forward to the full series Wii-make, is what I'm saying.

Answer: They aren't Super Metroid.

All games can't be Super Metroid. Only Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night can be Super Metroid. We need to get on with our lives.

Metroid Prime 3 is an amazingly fun game and also the worst Metroid game ever made is all.

i am super looking forward to the prime trilogy release though since i want to replay prime and never played prime 2.

I downloaded an English-patched copy of MP1 for Wii, and yeah, it's awesome. Especially so now that it's in widescreen, although for the elevator loading sequences they just stretched the image out, but that's a very minor thing that doesn't matter. I'd forgotten how many times you backtrack throughout the game. It's not as noticeable when you play the game for the first time or so and you explore everything.

So I'll be getting a PS3 in the mail somewhere in the next two weeks.  Any particularly good exclusives on this thing I missed out on over the last few years?

MGS4, Disgaea 3, Valkyria Chronicles, inFAMOUS, Ratchet and Clank... those are what I've played, anyway.
