So, okay, this was a new one for me: stop-and-go traffic, uphill, with a fucking motorcycle behind me. So, you know, every time I moved forward a few feet, I was aware that if I didn't get my foot from the gas to the brake fast enough, I could roll downhill and crush the guy behind me.
He seemed to figure out how precarious his situation was, because eventually he got over to the left side of the lane so if I slid backward he'd have a better chance of getting out of the way. Of course, by the time he pulled that off the ground had leveled off.
...Anyway. I live off Rural; the next mile east is McClintock; the next mile east of that is the 101. My grandparents in Scottsdale live between McClintock (which on that side is called Hayden) and the 101.
In the past two days, I have discovered that both McClintock AND the 101 are fucked up, so I am down to one route I can use going between these two places.
The main thought in my mind at this point is, is city planner an elected office? Was it on the ballot last week? And, if so, did I vote against the incumbent?
