I hit the boost and take the left lane, firing my rocket launcher behind me to increase the velocity while simultaneously taking out the #2 placer.

I love when people want to go faster in your lane, but instead of just passing or something, they ride your tail and flash their high beams.

It sucks, but the law (and common courtesy) states that if the person behind you is trying to go faster than you're willing to, you must pull into the lane to your right at the first available opportunity.

For the record, people who won't do that are my #1 pet peeve.

Hello from the other side.

I find myself with Guild on this.  But I also have incredible road rage because people are such unbelievably slow fucks on the road, and they also seem to insist on being in the passing lane when they have no business in it.

I thought the solution was to take the ramp, and switch lanes in mid-air to get the power up but miss the shlick.

A while back one of the more militant bicycle commuter groups surrounded and started hassling a guy who (witnesses were pretty concrete) was yielding to them and not being hostile at all.  Rocked his car a little bit and started pounding on his side windows.

So he mowed the few of them in front down.

I giggled a bit.

(Re: Not pulling right going exactly the speed limit in the left lane.  Most states I've gone through and therefore checked have this as illegal on the books.  If you can get over, don't be a self-righteous dick (I know this is hard I'm talking to Internet people here).

On the highway, I'll typically do 5-10 over the limit just kind of because (and yet people still breeze by), but in town, fuck you if you think I'm going faster because you decided that wherever you're going wasn't important enough to leave earlier for.  :enraged:

Dear drivers of U.S. highway system.

You are REQUIRED to let people merge from highway onramps.  If it's wall to wall slow moving traffic, you are STILL required to make a gap so people can merge.  If traffic is moving along at a reasonable pace and you are unable to shift over a lane, under no circumstances should you for any reason MATCH my speed and block all attempts to merge.  I don't understand you.  Please get strapped to a chair and watch everyone you have ever loved die in a fire.

I think that is somehow related to how whenever you turn your blinker on, most people regard that as instructions to speed up because no way are they letting themselves be behind someone.

I want one thing now.

Dear U.S. Automakers.

Cars powered by rage.

My god, if my car was powered by rage, it would run amazingly well, and it'd also be cheap!

It's $1.85 here, and it's hard to imagine many areas of the country with more expensive gas.

The article is from 2004, and it's just amusing that people were freaking out about that back then, not knowing where things would lead.

I've owned a car for nearly three years and buying gas for under $2 a gallon is a novel experience for me.

I saw $1.599 today!

It sucks that it's temporary (and Bush's only positive[?] legacy).

Yeah, I didn't start driving (in the US, anyway) until late 2004, when it had just hit $2. Seeing it at almost a buck fifty is really weird.
