I haven't had a hard time yet and I've done 21 missions. Each mission has a thing you need to worry about, but once you figure that thing out its pretty much over. Often that thing is "use this new unit like you're not retarded".

Not pissed off by the ending, but super fucking excited for the first expansion campaign. It's going to be like Brood War
but with Kerrigen truly free, instead of just driven still by instinct to conquer
. I hope she infests Mengsk and keeps him as a pet, because I've wanted to kill that motherfucker for twelve years, man. Fuck that guy is a douche.

Obviously I haven't played it, but I did peek at some material.

I don't get why Mengsk looks so much younger than he does in the orginal game. What happened to the Mirror Universe Willie Nelson?

I guess it makes sense if it's a plot point about him getting polished up since he's a big media abuser. But it doesn't seem like that level of thought went into it, just some really bad art direction.

Also, I am so glad I can't come even remotely close to being able to run this game right now, you have no idea.

Reapers are absolutely wrecking this zombie level!

Get a group of like 24 of the buggers and a couple medics and you can almost keep up the pace at nighttime

Get some helions backing them up and you probably could. The only problem is, if you get close to any infested buildings at night, they spawn a huge horde of infested dudes.

Also, most of the game is hilariously easy, with the sole exception of the last map which I had to retry twelve times

Yeah, this is how I felt.  I don't know why the difficulty spiked so much in the final mission.  I ended up just turning the difficulty down because I was tired and just wanted to see the ending.  I'm not proud.

Missed the secret mission but I might be able to load a past game in order to play it.  I don't want to replay the entire campaign.

I've been doing these on hard so far and, while I've had little to no trouble with the Zerg, the 'toss on hard are just ridiculously difficult to slog through. I had to scale back to normal for that one with the purple gas harvest. Those freaking Warp Rays.

Yeah, they continuously spawn groups every time you hit the building, like infinitely.

I'm not taking to Helions, to be honest. I've been sort of using them as turrets, but they really come up short compared to reapers.

The thing about Helions is that they're really meant for multiplayer. Same problem with vulture, though spider mines are a bit better. The campaign doesn't allow for you to rush in for a devastating helion harass, and they're too soft for the front line.

Placed Gold league in 2v2 with a friend.

We went 4-1, otherwise I would have got Plat/Diamond and the 5 hot streak achievement.  ::(:

So uh, is anyone up for some community multiplayer action?  This will be a strong determinant of whether I actually buy this game.

I'm playing. Makaris just stomped me a bit. I'm definitely up for playing though. Though I only do 1v1.

So Blizzard is policing user maps for "inappropriate content".

In the above example, a map was deleted because a single wave of units spawned in the shape of a swastika.

So I guess I shouldn't hold out hope for a SC2 port of "Nazi Defense 6.66"

This looks like a list of Spartan code names from Halo. Yes, I know.
