They're just trying to encourage people to actually play Starcraft.

I know it's fake, but it's still funny.

Wow the first ten pages of this thread are so gay they're truly truly truly outrageous.

Anyways this game is one of the few actually worth $60 just for how meaty the Campaign and Challenges and Achievements and Beat Up Compy For Fun stuff is. I actually can't wait to buy the Zerg and Protoss campaigns because they will have places as cool as the Hyperion to be, upgrades as cool for single player nonsense as the Armory is, and Zerg/Protoss researching each other and Terrans and oh god it's too delicious.

I'll hop aboard the multi-player train once I beat the campaign once proper and spend some time getting accustomed to new Zerg Build Orders because NO LURKERS NO FLYING QUEENS NO DEFILERS FINAL DESTINATION.
I still think the new Zerg are the tits
I get an entire 50 rounds to beat the ever-loving shit out of people who don't know that Zerg can burrow?

Yeah I've moved up to fighting other humans now. I'm around on Steam or in-game usually. I'll post my number the next time I can be bothered to remember it.

Oh God I get to spend another 48 rounds beating up helpless suckers this is so great and authentically Doom.

Also Infestor BEST UNIT.

Why not just do it like the pros and throw your placement matches so you get into bronze league?  Then you can 6 pool your way into diamond!

These matches are pretty useful for getting used to new hotkeys and the radically reworked Zerg Tier1 -> Tier 2 tech tree.

But yeah I'm only really interested in playing with you guys or raining misery upon the unfortunate. But we'll see how my actual game shapes up before I care about getting out of Bronze League.

I'm still hiding in coop matches, played a few rounds in the wild and got my ass handed to me.  Also I feel like a one handed player cause my apm is like 40.  People out there are so nasty, it sucks, ha

Love the game though

idiot question time

When I'm playin' Zerg and I set a waypoint from my hatchery, only my drones ignore this, which forces me to waste seconds checking my hatchery to find them under 3-7 larva. What do?

I'd prefer they just follow the rally point because if I want my drones to mine then whatever, but if I need a new hatchery/tech building I want that drone to be there to be ordered when I pop back in to check on my next wave of lings/roaches. When he's not there herp derp gotta check my hatcheries.

A hatchery has two rally point systems, worker rally points and unit rally points.

If you right click minerals or gas, it'll automatically use the worker rally. If you right click anywhere else, it'll use the unit rally.

So if you want to see some frigging amazing games, check out Korea Vs. The World.

Day 1
Day 2

Day 1 has 7 sets, day 2 has 9.  Click on the set buttons at the bottom of the video player to switch games.

These are the best Starcraft players in the world dueling it out KotH-tag style.  Winner stays, opponents field a new competitor, until one team wins 8 sets.  That's right.  A best of 15 with 16 sets.

Okay, looks like it actually is 15 sets.

If you're interested in seeing the pro SC2 play, games 2-6 of day 1 are all golden.  Haven't watched Day 2 yet, but apparently most of the games are amazing.

Interesting balance changes coming up.

They're mostly working on nerfing 4gate, but the archon and ghost changes are both pretty cool.
