I legitimately meant Herself the Elf. Also, Betty Boop, Popeye.

The Raccoons.
:hi5:

i also watched the Raccoons growing up, because I was within an hour of the canuckistan border. Good times. Canadian programming actually kind of treated children like adults, which I appreciate now.

Oh hey Frocto: 'The Real Ghostbusters' is actually a different show from 'That other Ghostbusters series with the jalopy and the ape'.

Also mentions to the two infamous Jay Ward creations: Rocky & Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle

You know what else was an awesome show? That short-lived Cartoon Network show where they only showed Tex Avery cartoons. I'm pretty sure it was on late at night.

For obvious reasons.

Say, there was an Anime series I used to watch that had been ported over and was broadcast on Canadian TV in the early 90's (maybe US TV too, I have no way of knowing). I think it must've actually dated from some time in the 80's.

It was another GIANT MECHA show, but was... western themed, so the mechs all had giant colt peacemakers and the like and when they weren't in space, they were on some desert or brush planet. It was just completely ridiculous, but as a kid I loved it.

It had three main characters. The dashing hero, who was as bland as faux hardwood-laminate desk, the obligatory sexy chick who wore lots of pink and red, and the hokey cowboy third-wheel, who was easily the most entertaining of the three.

Problem is that I totally forgot the name of the show, the characters, everything. Everybody always says it was Brave-Starr or some other dumb shit, but I know it wasn't. It was very obviously an actual anime (the art style was very Macross-esque) that had been ported over.

Does anybody know what the hell I'm talking about, or are these just the ravings of a madman?
If I may wager a guess,

Oh lord, even his helmet has a built-in ten-gallon hat.

I am the only one that put M.A.S.K. down? I had M.A.S.K. sheets that my mom made into M.A.S.K. curtains for my room and I thought they were awesome.
