Kinect keynote in five minutes or so. Maybe they'll change my opinion in regards to doing an action/fantasy game without a hand-held movement control.

It's some sort of bullshit Cirque du Soleil "Kinect Intepretation". I wish I was joking.

Oh god this is awful. This is horrible marketing/artsy bullshit taken to 11.

Turns out it's a recording of the Kinect Release event that happened Sunday night? The event that spawned the awful Star Wars clip.

And this

I.. I know it's horrible, awful pre-recorded marketing bullshit, but I still want to play that Star Wars game so bad.  ::(:

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet:

Bulletstorm Demo - E3 2010

Worth it just to hear Steve Blum yell "You scared the dick off me!"

Star War The Old Republic - E3 2010 Trailer

you know if Genndy Tartakovsky and Bioware teamed up to make a Star Wars movie, it'd probably be the greatest thing ever made in the history of the universe.

Nope, no crossing eyes, no glasses, just straight up look at the screen and it's comes at you in 3D.

RE: 3DS. Totally new hardware. Graphics are described by Parish as looking about as good as the Wii. The 3D effect is built into the top screen, and there is a slider that allows you to manipulate just how 3D you want things to be, or to turn it off in games that don't support it. It apparently looks great in what they've shown so far. I'm sure Nintendo will be the only ones doing it right for a long time, just like always.

Portal 2 trailer.

Portal's still so subdued. It's refreshing. I'm a little nervous that the game will go too far to try to exceed expectations.

The flying bits in Kid Icarus look a lot like Space Harrier.  I am okay with this.

For some reason, they seem to have given Kid Icarus the Gamemaster's personality rather, uh, Kid Icarusicus.

The only real personality he's ever been assigned by Nintendo is the one he had in Brawl, which was, uh, less than modest.

Yep, that one's gonna be a keeper.

Hey Mongrel, I highlighted the important part so you can see it.  I know you have trouble with that sometimes.

So is MAY HE REIGN FOREVER a meme yet or do these things take time?

Can we get a threadsplit for the people who don't want their E3 news bogging down in an argument about the ethics of a game system that nobody even has the option of purchasing yet?

And of course, ever since I saw that the new DS would have an analog stick I've been hoping for a version of Mario 64 DS that is actually playable.

This reminds me - has anyone heard whether it is possible to use the analog circlenub with DS games?

It's about time they got around to finishing up Twisted Metal: Online, first advertised in the back of the Twisted Metal Black instruction manual in 2001.
