Announced at Sony Keynote: PSP3DGO in development! (he's got a picture scribbled on a napkin)

"And so the game will be displayed through this cigar burn, controlled with the olive pit and then somewhere around here become 3d... And over here you can see what appears to be me in a cowboy hat...."

I was waiting for something embarrassing to laugh at

Yeah, and then Ubisoft went and stole the Vitality Sensor.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millenium Online Trailer

I know, it's a bad idea to get excited about an MMO, but.. Holy. Shit.

After seeing how they handled warhammer fantasy, I do not have high hopes. Hopefully they learned their lesson from how EA-Mythic handled the abortion that was Warhammer Online and won't spend a year prior to release talking about how it's going to be a wow killer, 9 months in beta, then have a bad launch with significant content cut and too many servers to support a smaller than predicted population.

The 3D movie thing is... kind of a big deal.

If they can get Fox on board it will become the only way people can see Avatar at home for a reasonable price.

Think about that for a moment.

Well, this isn't Mythic.  This is THQ, who have quite a bit of experience making really excellent 40k videogames.  So that's a good sign.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

True enough, but I can't help but see more of the same happening here - it seems like every developer with a really good property wants to talk about how they're going to destroy WoW by making the same game with a less desirable property than Warcraft. When The WF MMO was launching GW was running their mouths just as much as EA-Mythic, and when the MMO failed to meet their expectations they pretended like the MMO was done without their input and pulled C&Ds on their fansites. Hopefully everyone involved won't pull the wowkiller bullshit and aim at making a real, original game instead of just another tired fucking wow clone.

Sony Keynote going on. It seems to be lagging and skipping a lot, but that may just be me.

Watching move is fairly interesting - I think that Xbox should have given something optional for the hand, even if it was just a stick controller with an analogue stick and a couple buttons. That with the Kinect Technology would make action games awesome.

I keep thinking of these great game ideas for Kinect, but they just get shut out by a big problem: How are you supposed to move your character? You can't actually walk to walk on screen. PS3 move has this covered, but I don't know how well their camera will do the 1:1 motion.

All in all, I think both will end up being their own unique, mediocre experience  ::(:

My main thought playing through Metroid Prime Trilogy is "This is really clever but I REALLY would like the option to play with the original GC controller."

So what I'm saying is it's pretty hard to get excited about this motion crap.

Well Wii's problem is that they don't know when to stop using it. I think hope that 360 and PS3 will know that distinction.

I'm behind Motion and Kinect simply because I want to play a fantasy game like Demon's Souls and swing a sword. Or I want to play a Star Wars game and use Gestures for force powers. But I don't want it to feel awful and forced like Wii does in every game.

Sony hasn't been doing much so far. A lot of montage videos of games, and no demos aside from golf and Killzone 3.
