Cass is one of the best sustained and burst DPS casters in the game but she has virtually zero defenses short of never misusing your Ultimate.

She's one of my favorite characters for, uh, reasons. :jizz:

I've reached the conclusion that Zilean is OP, and I'm saying that as someone who just unlocked him. Everything he does feels like cheating, like you're friends with the devs and they coded in some exploits for you.

-My team isn't getting enough experience to my liking, let's increase that a bit.
-Did someone teleport a bomb into your pants or are you just happy to see me?
-You thought you were escaping that ruinous teamfight? Nope.
-You thought you were finally gonna catch up to me? Nope.
-Cooldowns? What cooldowns?
-Oh wow you got me good this time, I'm dead as dead can NO WAIT I'M NOT LOL

The inevitable Kenshiro quips coming when a low-health foe runs away with a bomb are just icing on the cake.

though i did get shutdown hard by a kassadin that one time

probably shoulda seen it coming

When I saw Teemo stroll up against my Lux in middle lane, I knew this would be a great game to reach level 30 with.

I can see Shyvana being terrifying, but only in the right hands. Just had a match against one. She went like 30/5/10 or something ridiculous like that. Problem is, nobody on the rest of her team had more than five kills. She could single-handedly take any three of us at the same time, but we took to moving as a group and she was of course no match for us then. I was a jungle Nocturne built semi-tanky*; I would ult in, fear her, our Malzahar would ult her, and we would focus her for however long it took, after which point her team of malnutrition victims could do nothing to stop us from pushing. I think the match ended 55/40 or something ridiculous like that. I'm pretty sure the other guys could have won if she had shared the wealth a little.

*: I don't usually get Frozen Mallet and Atma's when I jungle, but my other mates were Malzahar, Karthus, Lux and a glass-cannon Pantheon so I kinda had to be the initiator all game long. Fortunately I must have done a decent job.

Big changes to summoner spells in Season Two!

Clairvoyance and Flash are getting nerfed, Heal and Clarity are getting buffed, Rally and Fortify are out, Promote will be back in SR (but only for cannon minions), and a new Surge spell is coming up which sounds somewhat similar to Sivir's R.

I'd be surprised if Heal gets to matter much more in the early game than it does now; I suspect the change is a question of making it not completely irrelevant after the five minute mark. And depending on what Surge actually does, and on whether a Promoted minion is ignorable or not, it might open up offensive options early on.

Yeah. Heal in the early game pretty much makes killing people in lanes a lot fucking harder. If they make heal even stronger, I expect duo lanes to have two heals from now on. It could allow for more aggressive play, but there are better ways to encourage more aggressive gameplay and everyone using heal because flash is shitty cancels out the opportunity for being aggressive.

They should just remove flash if they don't like it as is. It will turn into the new rally if they do nerf the range. It currently blinks you just far enough to do things with it.

WARNING A NEW POST BLAH BLAH BLAH: A buff to heal in late game will just make the rest of the game shitty and unfun. I have been in matches where the entire enemy team had heal. It wasn't fun at all.

Edit: There is a reason why they have been nerfing characters with heals for about a year now.

I don't think I can be the bottom pusher on Dominion anymore. Nobody knows how to take a point except for me.

yeah i just lost three karma matches in a row

always dealt more damage than anybody else on my team, and more than anyone else on either team one time

quarry fell once per game

only when my team lost all its other points

and each time it took at least four guys to knock me off of there

-noob karma barely broke 1000 points
-that's goddamn amazing for a bot defender, you opium-addled nincompoop

So LoL is going to add actual teams to the game for ranked matches.  As a sometimes tryhard, I think it could be fun to get a team together.  This is probably at least a little ways off, but would anyone be interested?  The caveats of course being that you'll need level 30, a general understanding of the metagame as it shifts, and enough tryhardiness that you can play more than one role successfully (and have at least generalized runes to back it up).  The one time we tried 5v5 ranked it was a gross disaster, but it was also about a year ago so hopefully anyone still playing now has stepped up their game some, myself included.

I'd love to give this a shot, I'll be not dick this time. I play mostly tank/tanky dps and mage/Ranged carries(Mostly just Ashe, I'm very good with her).
