It just wouldn't be the same if you weren't the LPer, but that doesn't mean you can't also participate. It'll be a milestone in your career to LP something you made.

It was more a concern that I'd see other people's areas before I played them, but I will give it a go if we can find some way to keep me in the dark!

Also, I guess I should mention I am doing FMC2 on youtube if anyone wants to get in on that lol

Everybody's in the dark. That's why it was called Exquisite Knorpse in the first place! The director carefully obscures everyone else's areas.

Ah, okay.

How many maximum custom objects are there? Because I'm up to 17. I'm going to stop, but if there are like 25 I'll tone it down.

Looks like there's room for 48. I'm not how many people were planning on actually adding custom objects, though. I don't think I'm going to.

I'm the only one who will see the entire thing, but every contributor will see a larger portion of the final level than they did during previous knorpses. I overextended my hole-filling muscles last time around, so I'm moving more of this responsibility onto each author. The aim is to reduce the number of places where I can get caught up in pointless flights of fancy that don't fascinate anybody else nearly so much as they fascinate me, while providing more opportunities for you guys to build stuff in response to other peoples' work. Trust me when I say this will be win-win.

(Also Stush wins the honor of being the first contributor to actually send me any game content, and his level even includes a custom tileset which far exceed my own in terms of complexity and sophistication!)

Aw shucks~

Blame countless hours in MS paint drawing military bases and racetracks. I'm not so good at organic things, really, and shading and use of colours is still beyond me.
I need to work on textures and shading, I think. Doing sprite art is enjoyable, though! I'd like to learn more of it.

I almost sent you mine yesterday, but I am super nervous about anything going wrong or being not what I expect. I had my boyfriend play it and he found like five issues almost immediately! Plus I've got a friend who might want to compose music for me, so I'm holding off on sending for now.

I sent mine in so that he could look at the shape and figure out good places to fit it, and give me suggestions, i'm gonna work on it a bit more, gonna whack some more music in there, stuff like that.

What are you composers (Bleck and yyler's Special Friend) using for software?  Is it reasonably scrutible?

I think he uses Logic or Acid Pro or something like that. And like ten midi keyboards. I don't remember off the top of my head. It's this guy.

I've started on my section and I'm almost done with my rage corridor*.  I'm thinking of putting in a few save points just to give people more incentive to actually try to get through it.  Because, while each room is beatable, it's not really plausible to expect anyone to make it all the way through ever--It just takes too much luck which you do not have.

The rest of the level should take a considerable amount longer, as I'll actually be trying to make a good level rather than just filling a room with enemies and traps then slowly taking them out one by one until I can just barely get through the room after trying from up to 20 times per version (which takes about 1 minute).

So, are we doing this fully linear, or fit it all together later?  Because the idea I had was I wanted to do a first half which is where you get the climbing glove, and then the second half, which lets you get past in to the latter portion of the game after you get, say, the umbrella/high jump.

FLStudio, Reason, and Goldwave.

I need a single-image scene drawn. Artists only please view this description of what it should depict:
Juni, visibly ill, lying down in a hospital bed with a bowl of hot soup. Make it cute, but not deformed.
My thanks in advance to whoever volunteers for it. Probably claim it in here to minimize duplicated effort, then send me a PM containing the image. Just needs to be one picture.

I am replacing gradient 241. That is the last thing I'll replace, besides possibly music.
