I had this dream last night where I starred in a kung-fu action flick, some hot flight attendants recognized me from it, and then I used Facebook to put silly subtitles on it, full of stupid Fist of the North Star jokes on it.

This morning's dream was like, the first half of a Q episode of Star Trek: Voyager crossed over with Cutest Puppy Ever.

CPE won.

I had a dream disconnect on me tonight.  It actually froze, started screaming like an 90s modem and finally kicked me out to the real world.

I was specifically trying to catch up on sleep, so I was particularly unappreciative of that shit.

Q's powers inexplicably do not work on CPE, leaving him defenseless against CPE's corncob pipe strategies

From another board I go to (i.e. not my dream).

btw the real reason i posted was to share that i just woke up from a dream prominently involving danny devito lol. i think i have queso's avatar to thank :P we were like coleaders of a revolution of basketball players who boarded some aircraft carrier that for some reason was half aircraft carrier half high school and then refused to play basketball. i have no idea why we thought the world would have been devastated if devito could not play basketball.

btw devito somehow managed to tackle and pin me during an argument. i could not get up. embarassing

I'm a vampire, and for some reason I serve under another vampire (who's not my "father", so to speak). Eventually I get pissed off at the whole situation, so I decide to fuck his shit up. I go to a skyscraper he owns, and I take the elevator to the rooftop, where he's hosting a zombie party.

So there's just a bunch of zombies up there, but it still has the appearance of a fancy cocktail shindig. The guy zombies are all in expensive suits, the girl zombies all in little black dresses; there's a zombie barman and a zombie DJ. And they're all just standing around moaning, as their kind are wont to do. I'm not sure what the point is, but I don't care. I pull out a sweet katana as Rave On* starts playing, and I immediately begin hacking the "guests" to bits. There are really many of them, and though some make feeble attempts at attacking me, even in numbers they're no match for me. It's not long before I'm covered in rotting gore.

After a while my arms get a little tired, so I start just kicking zombies off the roof. The "camera" follows one of them in its fall and I wake up immediately after seeing his head splatter on the pavement in slow motion.

I guess since I am here I should tell you my most recent end of the world scenario type dream

Old house I used to live in with my parents. Wake up, get out of bed. Family is watching the television. News is reporting "strange and unusual events taking place all over the country ranging from volcanic eruptions to sightings of dead family members". I try to watch for a bit, and ask questions of my family, but keep getting distracted by noises outside. Repeatedly ask family what those noises are. Family completely ignores me and them, further inspection reveals they are all in some sort of coma-like state.

Panicked, I run outside to discover the hills nearby my house are all in various states of eruption. The scene is very vivid, I remember the lava flows running down the hillsides and the chunks of ash and rock raining down all around me. Several impact cars and houses, crushing them.

Helicopters are arriving. Some are destroyed by the fiery hail.  The others begin to fire missiles at the hillsides. Purpose unknown. Huge, spectacular explosions. Despite all this, people are moving around me at normal paces, blank faces, going about their daily business. Nearby school has a steady stream of cars pulling into the parking lot, dropping off blank faced mute children. Several of these cars are destroyed by hail, no notice is taken by other cars, people on street, or children.

I cross street to investigate. Teachers are lining the kids up to be walked directly into classrooms, which have all been filled with giant meat grinders. Teachers are all wearing strange attire, stark black suits with white collars. (noted resemblance to catholic priest attire after dream ended)

Overwhelming sense of unrealism and dread begin to take hold. Shake head violently several times, muttering about how this must be a dream, must be a dream, I wish this was a dream. Upon failure to awaken self inside dream state I conclude it must be real despite appearances, and proceed down the street.

End of street leads out of familiar settings. Landscape looks like it has been turned inside out, with everything inverted. Tree roots stick up out of the "ground". Holes in the crust allow glimpses of the houses and world now inverted beneath: calm people, blank faces. Looking directly up now reveals an endless sea of magma floating above my head, with rocks floating in it, home to strange teeth maws.

I notice that guy and immediately realize that this is a dream. Begin to proceed toward him angrily demanding explanation for placing me in this world. As usual that guy does not respond, move, or react in any way, consistent with other dream encounters. Merely continues detached observation of me as I approach. Standard fear at his presence intensifies as I grow closer, but again as usual I fight it down and close, desiring to take him in my hands and shake an answer out of him.

But as always as I close the final few feet I am unable or unwilling to follow through with intentions, instead halting just out of reaching distance. After a short stand off I turn and leave in disgust at him and myself for failure to overcome fear. Observe window back to "real world". Can see myself sleeping in bed beyond. Go through. Awaken in real world, annoyed with self for repeated failure to successfully force that guy to speak or react.

The original fansub of that show referred to that guy as That Guy.

So whenever someone talks about That Guy I think of that Xanatos looking fucker who kamehamehas with his foot.

I dreamt that I was helping to defend a group of beach-dwelling surfer-type kids from a pack of Deep Ones, but it must have been an Oblivion mod or something, because everyone I faced had the little half-circle health bar. The kids had really horrible AI, too. They kept swimming out into the lake and getting swarmed by the fishy fiends.

Also the cap to my water bottle snapped off.  ::(:

Last night I dreamt that my tongue turned into a snake and started biting me.

Really.

Last night I had a dream that I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh, and Santa Claus was on it. He was Scottish, or else gay, because instead of pants he had a miniskirt/kilt thing, and white tights. I guess like Mrs. Claus. Also he was wearing a tricorner hat. Anyway, he had a Christmas themed deck, and someone asked him why he was playing in Duel Monsters tournaments rather than... anything else, I guess, and he replied that he wanted to take the prize money and donate it to charities, and he was playing cards for it rather than... anything else, I guess, because he wanted to stay hip with the young kids so they'd keep believing in him.

I don't really like the show.

I like the irony of Santa having to use Yu-Gi-Oh to maintain his popularity.
