Quickly Retrieve Arms from Safe
« on: April 03, 2010, 02:44:14 AM »

You know how occasionally you'll read about somebody you know who only finally gets around to something you've been following for a long time, and they're like, "Holy crap! Why didn't you guys point this out to me sooner?" and you're like, "Hey, we tried to, but you weren't paying attention"?

Yeah, I just started reading MSPaint Adventures.

Holy crap.

Homestuck: Year One concluded. Still smack in the middle of the story, though, so this animation is even more portentous and bizarre without much in the way of explanation than usual. I really, really like MSPaint Adventures.

I don't feel like visiting the forum.  Is there a running list of things for AH to become homoerotically interested in?

I don't know. What I can tell you is that I think this comic is canon.

Homestuck:

Well, I guess that explains where Dave got the code for Fear No Anvil.
I was hoping that would be a huge complex twist or something.

MSPaint Adventures has been breaking brave new ground in the field of inane, ridiculous, awesome animations. Andrew just posted an amazing tribute to an amazing movie. Just a few days previously, he'd revealed that the only website that matters on the internet is just as charming as an audiovisual extravaganza.

(If you don't already read Homestuck, these links will probably reinforce your opinion.)

CG's permanent frustration always seemed exaggerated to me, but this last bit made me realize that the dumb fuck had basically sentenced himself to sit there watching AH-knows how much of John's ever-decreasing attention span.  He's probably already been subjected to that bullshit for days at least.

So much of the latest Homestuck update needs to be made into animated gif reaction images.
So much of it.

MS Paint Adventures updated. It might not show up in the RSS cause Andrew Hussie is a tard.

Bill Bolin, the music guy who did those, basically went internet drama queen.

So a handful of animations in MSPA now have different music:

If you fear change the way that I do, you may be gratified to know that the Internet has saved copies of the originals.
Wow. The Midnight Crew bit and Dave's Strife just do not work. At all. Do you have links to said saved copies of the originals?

Oh, hey, and the new album's up! 71 tracks! Wow!

What's weird is that I actually prefer the new Midnight Crew version; I feel like it's an improvement on the original, unlike (say) Retrieve Package. Still, I far prefer having both versions than just defaulting to one or the other. I'll upload the files when I get home tonight.

Aaaaand I didn't bother checking the thread before packaging the ones I had, so if 4chan isn't working out for you, the original flash files are here for now.
