It didn't occur to me until my wife pointed it out

But the kids in the new session are the guardians of the kids in the human session.

Jane is Granny
Jake is Gramps
Roxy is Rose's Mom
Dirk is Bro.

Look at their character designs, equipment and predilections. Much like with the kid session, the dersite guardians are one generation ahead of their charges, and the prospit guardians are seemingly two generations ahead. (Jade/John being the grandparents of Jake and Jane respectively)

That's the effect of the Scratch. If you read back, the troll ancestors were the original troll players, but they were too nice and had to scratch the session and trade places with the troll kids in their timeline.

When UU says "eighty billion years and four universes", that's what s/he means: troll universe 1 (created by a 48-squiddle session according to andrew hussie snark), troll universe 2(scratched by trolls, sgrub/hivebent), human universe 1 (created by hivebent trolls, sburb beta), human universe 2(scratched by kids, sburb alpha)

so i have a thought

if the ancestors of a session player are the scratchers of a previous session, as seen in the new session and the troll session, and the new kids are all, as adults, the guardians of the kids from the kid session, does this mean that the new, scratched session is going to scratch and create the session that created their session in the first place?

I would be very pleased if John and Jade entered the new universe before any pre-entry prototyping was done and forced a Perfectly Generic Object into everyone's kernels in order to prevent what went so wrong with their own session.
