If Kayma's just going to die anyway, who better to turn? We turn him, he gives us three names, and then we all vote for him again and he either turns out to be innocent (in which case we know to kill the other three, because he'll win along with us) or he's a wolf (and we know the three names were a distaction).

I guess that's sound, but if you save your ability and the Seer hits a wolf, we can use it on him and win.

Well, yes. "Or he's a wolf" is sort of the wrench in every plan.

That's cute.  Looks like newbie just put a hold on the game.

If anyone votes kayma and they're wrong, than not only do we have another wolf (which we would not know about right away), but another man to whom throw the "he's a werewolf" finger down at.

Uh, I just figured out why Kazz is so afraid of the Turnsman.

Hey, any wolf want a free win?

Step forward before one of your fellows does. Betray them. We'll turn you right now and you can list your former three friends. Then we'll kill them and you'll win.

Alternatively, don't do this so we can actually play the game.

Alternatively, now that I've figured this out, Kazz can take the Turnsman out and reroll the roles or something.

Or he could just change Newbie's role into something else. It's still day 1. We haven't really accomplished jack, yet.

Yeah, I'd have turned myself by now if Kazz hadn't explicitly told me it was against the spirit of the game.

You know what? Fuck it. Let's take a vote: who's in favor of me using the Turnsman right now on a randomly selected player?

Before you turn somebody, please explain to me the mechanics of your ability. For example, if you turn somebody, who is told about the change in affiliation? Is it public knowledge, is it something only the turnsman and the affected knows, or does only the person affected find out?

From the way Kazz described it, I assumed no one but the turned person knew what their new role was. Making doing it now basically the worst decision ever.

You know, for the duration of this game, there is one way we can get rid of this possible issue, innocent or otherwise:  Newbie

If Newbie is already a wolf (as he was not detective'd), then it would cut off the supply for the wolves for us innos, while at the same time ensuring that there is no one-turn gamebreaker for the wolves.  Besides, we still have too little to go off for night one, except that the wolves are either going to go for Fowl, McDohl, or Myself tonight.

The Turnsman announces it as a day action, and the only person who knows the truth about whether they become innocent or a wolf is the affected person.

It doesn't matter, because I'm taking the Turnsman out right now.  It was an ill-thought-out role and I don't want there to be a chance of a victory based on a former wolf throwing the names of the other wolves out there.

GAME PAUSED while I turn Newbie into something else.

Newbie is now The Prestige

Day Action.  Once per game, publically reveals whether the target is a wolf or an innocent.

Game on.

Hey, Newbie, use that on Dohl, please.

If we use it on Dohl can we still kill Kayma since I'm convinced Dohl is the smallest threat against the innos?

Actually, if Dohl really does turn out to be a wolf, yes.

Because I'm going to steal his power. Then we'll kill him tomorrow to prevent the wolves stealing something else, and also removing the Power Thief from the game so we don't have to worry about it anymore.

If he doesn't turn out to be a wolf, though, then I'm not going to rob him, natch.
