Thought this didn't need to be said, but let's lay off of the actual votes until we get the first scan done.  I am still a fan of the compulsory self-test, so I'm good with Norris.  Once that happens, we need to get people talking as much as possible to maximize information for the dynamites and flamethrowers, so we don't end up toasting more innocent dudes.

Considering our time limit, Norris may need to take the initiative and either scan himself or somebody else before all the votes come in.

Like Childs said, the reason I put my Test up to vote was to keep suspicion off myself, not because I'm Thinglike, but because I'm innocent right now, and I wanted to establish my innocence by taking a risk no Thinglike would take while proving the innocence or Thingessence of another player. Yeah, you guys can make me test myself, and I'll be innocent, and that's fine by me, but I do want to urge you to change your votes to somebody else.

No, no, that's fine. No problem. Let's look at Blair instead.

After all, I have a little test of my own that we can use on you afterward.

For the record, I used my test on Nauls because it looked like he might have been bandwagoning and I was about to go to sleep so I didn't want to wake up later and have the day be over already and my test totally wasted.

Copper, because holy shit that last post was defensive as all hell.

Yeah.  I'll go with Copper.  I thought he was suspicious yesterday, too.  He hasn't made any posts with any meaningful content.

But I've got my eyes on you, Childs.

I told you before, MacReady, I DON'T SWING THAT WAY.

I really do suggest Bennings or Garry over me as a test target but I agree entirely with Copper.

Gentlemen, please.

We have not the time to test innocents, and there are people acting far more suspicious than me. If you truly wish to find an ABOMINATION, then I appeal to you as men of science, vote for someone other than me. Not to sound petulant, but "he is playing defensive and not making meaningful posts" is a shallow indication of a BEASTIE.

Fuchs is not joining in with your bandwagon on me and he's the one with the dynamite, so I'm inclined to do what he wants, as a brave, foolish man. He's after that rabid dog Blair, a man I vehemently insist we either test or put down.

(Can we extend this day a bit?)

Now just hold on a minute, I may be a little violent, hell lets face it, crazy since we found out about these Things; but the obvious Thing target and the most suspicious person here want to dynamite or test me?

WOAH!  THIS day IS DANGEROUS!  MAYBE IT'S BETTER TO SECURE AN ESCAPE ROUTE FIRST.  THERE MUST BE A BACK DOOR HERE SOMEWHERE.  LET'S TRY TO FIND IT, SHALL WE?

...no?  This is mutiny.  Mutiny I say.

Well, I've got some thoughts, but I'm going to keep them to myself.  It's not that I don't trust you men, it's just that three of you GOT SOME FRESH AIR, AND WERE EATEN BY A MONSTER.

Anyway, I'm going with Blair for now.  I THINK I'LL STAY AND LOOK AROUND MORE.

I think Norris should bite the bullet and decide between those we've nominated for tests.

I'll give it another two hours (so that it'll be 24 hours since the day began), at which point I'll go with whoever has the most votes. Eenie Meenie Miny Moe in case of a tie.

Also, since I decided to hold my own vote for this one effectively cutting the day in half, I'm going to go ahead and use my HAMMERTIME, giving us 48 hours to determine who to test afterwards.

I'll tell you Childs. I like you and I'm gonna rape ya. Now we can do this the easy way or thehard way. Also Copper

People don't seem terribly interested in the self-vote option.  Problem is, I can't tell if Copper and Blair are being thing-like or just big ol' dumbs.

(Also, technical question: does hammertime actually stop the game, or does it just give everyone another day to discuss?)

Times up, and Copper seems to have the most italicized votes. Let's see what your blood's made of, ol' boy!

Unhand me, you jackanapes! I hope you're proud of yourselves for siding with ODIOUS NUISANCES and ignorance!

Well maybe NOW you'll listen to some old-fashioned reason.

Garry.

Well, hmm.

At least we established who's not a Thing, right?

Me and you, Copper. Just a couple of Humans. Typical Earth Dudes, walking around, sitting, eating animals bred for food things with our human mouths. And absolutely no assimilating dogs, amirite? High Five.

Ah, Good Times.
