The rain and cold have moved in with a vengeance. Gonna make myself a sandwich and get back to finishing my Exquisite Knorpse section.

I'm wondering how awful it'd be to make a CRPG based on the Ars Magica or Conspiracy X.

With stronghold management and development more and more often being a key feature of d20 CRPGs, I wonder what worthy things might be done with systems which already treat strongholds as integral characters.

Coming immediately to mind for both is "why use these systems instead of just scripting?"
And, "how will you handle certamen?" For Ars Magica, specifically.

Poisonbucks are another asset for which solvency is doubly important.

There's a joke to be made here about campaign finance reform and corporations that have all the skills and characteristics of player characters, but I'm not the guy to find it.

Alriiiight. Haven't eaten anything but peanut butter in a while, out of stuff to drink but water, and gas tank has just enough to get me to a station.

I guess I can't put it off any longer. Asking parents for money.

At least enough to put in my tank so I can go to school and drive around trying to get a job.

Alcohol is for douchebags and boeuf bourguignon.

WHICH ONE ARE YOU

YES ONE OF THESE ANSWERS IMPLIES THAT YOU ARE NOT A HUMAN BEING

AND THE OTHER IMPLIES THAT YOU ARE FOOD

Having all these leftover potatoes and brisket has been pretty easy on the budget, but jesus christ are Julie and I getting gassy. Pretty sure I've mentioned this already. It's only gotten worse since then.
