1981 + 29 = a hell of a lot more than 111.

It used to be a very large number of regular forumers and IRCers were born in October, though I'm not sure if this is still the case.

I was staring a squeeze bottle of ketchup right in the squeeze hole because I wanted to look at said squeeze hole go in and out as I squeezed the bottle. You know, a typically not-thinking thing you do when you're bored and spacing out.

Turns out ketchup burns when applied to your tear ducts.

We can't have a thread like this... I'd have to post everything I did or said from the moment I awoke till after I fell asleep.

The other day I was having trouble opening a vaccuum-sealed plastic package of frozen salmon fillet, so I held it firmly on my stomach and jabbed a knife through.

...or I would have had I not realized at the very last second that I was a millimeter away from committing accidental seppuku.

That is definitely well above the normally mandated levels of acceptable stupid.

Or would have been if you hadn't caught yourself.

 :hi5:

I used to do that all the time at work. I'd go to cut things and balance them on my wrist. As I began to get frustrated at it not opening, I'd stab and slice harder until I realized one more swing and I'd slit my wrist.

I have that same problem where I forget that I'm not wholly immune to blades and shearing forces in general.

Wait... but didn't you actually find a coffee mug/thermos that actually had a handedness? I mean, that wasn't just a product of you not realizing the cap could also seal with a clockwise turn?

...
Yeah Thad. You should pull out that quote again.

I can't tell whether this is intentional or not.
