Wait, that lady is Applejack AND Rainbow Dash?  Meaning that she has to have a huge argument with herself at least once per episode?  Niiice.

Fans also imply a lot of sexual tension between her and herself.

but let us not kid ourselves sirs there was some pretty weird and gross shit going down with avatar and powerpuff girls and i am seeing The Signs

discovery relevant to weird shit surrounding powerpuff girls (and mlp by proxy though i doubt you need me to tell you so at this point): googling "frankie foster" brings up multiple links to porn on the FIRST PAGE

i mean i get it

rule 34ing cartoons is a time-honored source of lulz that long predates the internet and frankie foster is as good a target as any but honestly

Almost none of the discussion here has been about the show itself.

Case in point: I've still only seen the first four eps of the thing, despite setting up the Remedial program and everything.

Well I mean, I expect that from any kind of mainstream cartoon aimed at kids and early teens where their first tentative steps in sexualizing the opposite gender are being drawn from female characters they feel like they know. I pray to god this is why Sonic wankdom is so staggeringly massive. A not insignificant number of good male artists I follow have admitted that the sole motivation for their early attempts at seriously drawing the human figure were born from the mindless want to make pornography. It's weird but if you think about it, when you're that young, there's not a ton of other things that really command your attention/discipline quite the same. This is probably why there's so much of it.

With My Little Pony, I really feel like most of the rule 34 output has been trolling. It just seems like there's no way most people could get past the fact that these are, like, horses, no matter how much they liked the characters themselves. Even with furries they make them human-like first.

Honestly, what genuinely bothers me is stuff like Cupcakes up there. I guess the concept is sort of funny in how a pink pony named Pinkie Pie would turn out to be the most sadistic monster ever to walk the earth, but you hit that point in the video where the creator spent the time to accurately create a scene where Rainbow Dash's intestines are being pulled out on a torture rack and like... they wrap it in a video with a look that most little girls looking for MLP videos are going to fall for. How exactly is this not a genuinely, unironically awful thing for someone to do?

I'd say it made me wonder if other artists these days are getting their start with the driving motivation of being good trolls and pleasing the 4chan crowd, but I just know this was done by a dude in his mid-30s.

I think that's probably true but I mostly wanted to make jokes about what happened to the one actual adult human woman Craig McCracken and friends ever created.

We can only pray that McCracken preserves his innocence and never searches the internet for one of his beloved children.

Also turns out he married the creator of the new MLP?

Wait, there's a video of Cupcakes?  All I knew about was the comic that's being drawn.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Pretty sure Frankie is still underaged.

Quote from: wikipedia
Frankie – Madame Foster's 22-year-old granddaughter, addressed as "Miss Frances" by Mr. Herriman. Frankie is the caregiver at Foster's and helps keep everything in order. In spite of Mr. Herriman's fussiness and fixation with rules and cleanliness, having to take care of everyone and everything in the house, and Bloo's mischief-making (all of which cause her tremendous stress), she is usually very friendly and easy-going. According to her driver's license, she was born on July 25, 1984. She is voiced by Grey DeLisle.

I want to point out that the one-paragraph frankie bio on wikipedia mentions her age twice despite that information not being in any way relevant to the show as a whole or even the rest of the entry

might have had another dimension if the driver's license were a citation, though
