furthermore, why are the volves leaving envy alone? i'm going to assume he's turned as shit if kazz is inno. if he's turned, he'd have no reason not to affirm my suspicions and say, uh yeah sure newbie's evil, you know?

so... what? gdrac is very high on my list of what you are for all these reasons. can you defend against these accusations? without blaming me for your tossing scum tells out like candy?

Question for Friday: would wolfsbane protect from wolf-turning?

furthermore, why are the volves leaving envy alone? i'm going to assume he's turned as shit if kazz is inno.

I don't think that's a safe assumption. Kazz was not a tempting turn target last night because once you outed him, the prevailing expectation was that he'd be shooting immediately, making him far less useful to either villainous team. Then McDohl died, and the vamps had to know that this would make him a person of interest in the wolves' book; since the wolves act before the vampires, depending on wolfsbane's efficacy against wolf-turning, Envy could have been vampire-poison by the time they tried to turn him, killing Drac and giving the wolves a second scry in the process. It would make far more sense to me for the vampires to continue scrying and to encourage the village people to lynch Envy as someone who's "obviously" turned.

if he's turned, he'd have no reason not to affirm my suspicions and say, uh yeah sure newbie's evil, you know?

It depends. We each have three possibilities: I'm a vamp or wolf or inno, and he's a vamp or wolf or inno. Let's make a chart!

Envy vampEnvy wolfEnvy inno
Newbie vampdeny suspicionsaffirm suspicionsaffirm suspicions
Newbie wolfaffirm suspicionsdeny suspicionsaffirm suspicions
Newbie innopotentially eitherpotentially eitherdeny suspicions

The fact that Envy denied your suspicions says that either we're on the same team, or he's evil and feels he has more to gain by telling the truth about me than by tipping his hand already.

Serious question: is there actually an argument I can present that would convince you of my innocence? And a followup: put yourself in my shoes. Put aside your expectations about my allegiance for a moment and consider, hypothetically, if I'm innocent and I'm not convinced that you are innocent, would it be in my best interest to present such an argument?

i think i'm convinced... at least that you are putting effort into this, which is helpful, and that there is a chance you are scummy to me for meta game reasons and not actually factual ones

if you are gdrac i'm going to buy you a beer for your posts since i started attacking you

i admit i have a problem with confirmation bias, but you are suspicious to me for reasons that are based on experience, not 'gut instinct' whatever that is, and though this most recent post seems very much reasonable, i can't shake the feeling that you are a Big Bad

i think i want to hear what zar, romo, transport, angry beaver and smiler think about all this

the day is supposed to be OVER already, so let's all agree to make our posts super cereal or not at all

true that, which is why i think lynching kazz was downright stupid, to be honest, but whatever it's your game to lose/win and mine to say i told you so after

hey guys, sorry about my recent absence. I'm gonna be gone for awhile longer yet. Dunno how long exactly. but rest assured the game will continue when I get back! in the meantime:

Kazz is lynched. He was the Vigilante.

Game will go into Night 3. Game will resume when I get back.

Sorry about the delay, again.

Gonna assume you'd have specified he was a turned vigilante if that had been the case, right?

Also, would wolfsbane protect an individual from wolf-turning, or does it only protect from wolf-murder?

It protects from both, however, it won't protect from wolf-wielded items, such as a scrying device or the Assassin's Dagger.

Another not so quiet night in Castle Murderwolf. Lightning splits the sky, rain rattles the shingles. Dawn comes with a deep fog.

But, strangely, no victims are found in the morning, once again.

17 players are AH, AH, AH, AH, STAYING ALIVE, STAYING ALIVE

Romosome
Niku
Classic
Laser
Koah
Envy
Newbie
Kayma
Transportation
Verde
Angry Beaver
Friend
Zara
Guild
Smiler
Zach
NexAdruin

3 players are TABLE FIIIIIIIIIIVE

Bongo - Seer
McDohl - Wolf
Kazz - Vigilante

It takes 8 votes to DICSO STU DOESN'T ADVERTISE.

The AH has gotten slightly more deadly overnight:

Lightsaber
Interceptor
The Scry Detector

The PI still offers his services, and wolfsbane is still for sale for 4 gold.

It is now Day 4.

Guild has been endangering people he knew were innocents and revealing private conversations at the drop of a hat. I can't see any reason why he shouldn't be put to the wall.

You know, I wouldn't mind lunching Guild either just because of his sheer volume of posts, but your explanation is lacking to me. I don't see why revealing private conversations is a problem, nor do I see where  Guild endagers people he knows

Guild has been talking a lot, but his talking prolongs the day, which is generally a good thing, no? I don't see him recklessly endangering people, either. He's just been starting bandwagons. And so far he hasn't gotten anyone killed except a wolf.

Envy was the one who got the wolf, not Guild.

Guild's actions are not that innocent. He has butted heads with both of the innos that have died this game. He had contact with bongo and has told us that he had Bongo investigated by the PI. Kazz accused him of being the devil in post 215, and for that Guild told us that he was the vigilante. Bongo's death was a coincidence, but in Kazz's case Guild is mostly to blame. I have to vote Guild just for that.

Okay, I'm finally done catching up.

it won't do any good to kill him AND THEN ASK HIM QUESTIONS so let's just SIT TIGHT HUH?

Unvote.

Well, I've pretty much got it.

You've been driving everybody toward voting Koah and then, once people do, you climb off the bandwagon and totally reverse direction.

You've got so many head games running that I'm not even sure you know what you're doing anymore.  You won't let people disagree with you and then you're suspicious of anybody who DOES agree with you.

While I understand that your strategy always involves grilling people, I think you've gone too far.  You've made this entire game about you: your opinions, suspicions, and transcripts.  Everybody is trying to piece together the Guild puzzle rather than the actual wolf puzzle.

I think you're dropping chaff.  What's more, I think you want to be killed.  Because you are the Devil.

The Devil, if this game works the way most of our games do, is on the wolf team, but does not count toward a wolf victory.  You're trying to sniff out as many roles as you can and then get yourself killed, because your death actually advances the wolf victory condition.

So, Guild.

Also, if I'm right, and I survive the night, I need to be killed tomorrow.
