To be honest, we don't actually want Dracula to die (yet) because he's got a scrying power and should be using it to make sure the weretiger doesn't win. The weretiger is the bad's NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. And I'm going to keep screaming that from the hills because I want to win and the only way I see us winning is by keeping the weretiger as scary as fucking possible to the bads.

What the hell are you talking about. Why would you not want Dracula to die, if the we want to keep the weretiger as scary as a threat as possible? I mean, this post makes more sense if you're a wolf, I guess. Are you a wolf?

The rest of the town doesn't seem to be talking, except Niku who come the fuck on look at his teeth.
Nex you never answered my question. Did you try to kill Newbie before?

Newbie could probably tell us if he's been attacked or not.

Newbie can buy wolfsbane just like anyone else. If he knows he's being targeted, he can buy wolfsbane (for 3 consecutive nights, with his current GP) and keep his power to protect (he'll probably protect Niku, since he wants to be a vampire).

I don't know what Classic is on about. We want the first dracula to die, at the very least. The second dracula can worry about scrying for the weretiger.

If he survives the night we will know he was lying about sacrificing himself and has been turned. So we'll kill him tomorrow. No skin off our noses, plus we get to put a leash on the wolves for one night.

And if there's anything the wolves need right now, it's another night of being bounced off wolfsbane.

Your plan doesn't work anyway, because I would just not attack him, say "look he's turned!" and then he gets killed tomorrow. And in the meantime we kill an innocent for being too quiet. On the other hand, you kill Newbie now, I can attack one of the people I suspect of being a vampire, and over the course of the night I get more information from the PI.

As much as I'd like to die for the greater good, right now I think it's more important that we kill Niku.

Niku strikes me as vampireish. He was quiet until recently someone counted the posts and he came in near last. Now he won't shut up trying to get the 2 big players killed.

I was quiet because I wasn't keeping up with the game well enough to make educated opinions known, and I have no friends or scrying abilities or anything to go off of except what I can see in the game.  Then, people began to call me out for being quiet: UH OH, WHERE HAVE I SEEN THAT HAPPEN BEFORE?  Oh, but wait, now I'm talking: that must mean I'm evil!  If your catch-22 bullshit actually works, especially coming from a known wolf, we honestly deserve to lose this game.  Which leads me to:

I still vote newbie gets sabered, because his existence is bad for every nonvamp. And man, I don't even feel good about that. I know he's my enemy and all, but it isn't even his fault that he has to die.

The funny thing is that I agreed specifically because Newbie made a claim with no backing and has been fingered as a dracula by people who's instincts I trust and who have anti-dracula policies.  Luckily, you brought this to the table:

If he is a vampire, as I claim, he is on the faction that is the greatest threat. If he is the wolfsbaner, as he claims, then he is stopping me from doing my job (which right now is killing vampires moreso than killing innocents).

niku. I am voting that niku get lynched, not sabered. Someone has the interceptor again, and I don't know who. But I pi'd newbie last night, and I know he doesn't have it. He's the wolfsbaner with the ouija board and 9gp. Or maybe 11gp. Idk when payment takes effect.

Whoops!  In the span of just two or three posts, you suddenly go from claiming that Newbie is a vampire and not the wolfsbaner to saying that you PI'd him and that he not only isn't a vampire, but is definitely the wolfsbaner.  So, no matter which way is correct, you're just sowing disinformation.  You're fed up with being unable to kill anyone, so you're jumping on the first innocent target you think you can get a bandwagon on (hey, that'd be me!) just so you can kill someone.  That's frankly just sloppy playing that hurts both your team and mine.  I know, play a tiny violin for the town, but right now you need us as much as we need you.  Teamwise, not you specifically.

Because here's the thing to you and everyone else who wants to leave Nex alive: who's the better option? On Newbie's list we've got myself, Classic, Kayma, Verde, and Zach as complete unknowns.  That means we could lynch or saber any one of these people, yes including myself, and congratulations, we just killed another innocent person.  This is far, far worse than needing to sort out another werewolf to use for our dirty work.  That's why I'm not rescinding my vote for Nex to be lynched, but I am rescinding my vote to saber Newbie.  Yes, this actually puts more votes on me for the saber, but I'm hoping Laser realizes that I'm not being suicidal.  I'm just not going to leave my vote up on someone who the PI allegedly cleared.

That's also why I'm talking.  Because guess what, I've been around the block long enough to know that a vanilla inno is just as big of an asset to the team as anyone else, and not being able to hard-evidence exonerate myself from accusations doesn't mean anything.  Nobody can in this game unless the PI gives an all-clear.  But I'm not going to let bad guys (like, say, outed wolves) lead a bandwagon on me without defending myself even if I've got nothing to go on but the thread, unlike the vampires and wolves.

Oh and one last thing just because I wanted to mention it anyway:

Niku wants to know if I'm the greater wolf so that Dracula knows if I'm worth biting or not (Dracula dies for biting a wolf regardless). If I am the greater wolf, dracula can bite me and the next dracula is invincible (except for lynching, maybe). If I'm not the greater wolf, it isn't worth it (assuming I know how the vamps play, which I don't). It's better all around if you guys don't know.

This also adds evidence to the "Niku is a vampire" story.

I brought up the potential of you being a greater wolf specifically because Newbie could see no reason not to leave you alive.  When I was the greater wolf in the past, I held onto my turn until late in the game when I could use it to turn things to my advantage.  Now, I don't know how wolf team is playing.  Maybe they blew it first chance they got for a better voting block.  And frankly, I don't care if you're the greater wolf or not.  All I know is that people are suggesting targeting random people without evidence when we actually have a wolf right here, and killing a wolf will always be better than going "whoops, hit another innocent!".

If you know who an actual, honest to god vampire is, then by all means.  Tell us.  But don't paint me as one just because you've got murder blue-balls and want to live another day.

Who do you suspect? Why is your suspect list better than our suspect list? Do you have some information you're not sharing with us? You keep claiming that keeping you alive will provide us with great information on vampires but so far you haven't given us a single one.

To be fair, his list is inherently better than ours since his list excludes his wolf comrade(s)

It's true that I changed my story on what Newbie was. Yesterday, I honestly believed he was a vampire. When I said that his move of outing me was only useful to a vampire, I hadn't considered the wolfsbaner, who would only be a detriment to his own team if he was turned. I knew today that he was the wolfsbaner, but I didn't want to say I knew it for a couple of reasons. I didn't want him to know that the wolves knew, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to convince the town he needed to die if he was the baner. Newbie then outed himself, and even said that he wasn't sure if he should stay alive or not for exactly the same reasons I'm saying he needs to die.

As I've said multiple times, I don't want to kill a random innocent. I want this game prolonged just as much as any nonvamp, nonweretiger does, because I've actually been pretty damn useful at getting information, even if right now I don't have any hard evidence. If you are an innocent, then I'm sorry. To you and the innocents that I may have convinced to kill you. I just don't buy it.

Also, you seem to believe that only the greater wolf can turn. As I've said, that isn't the case. Whether or not I'm the great wolf has nothing to do with whether or not anyone has been, or is going to be, turned.

I suspect Niku. My list is better because I have a smaller pool of people to work from, I have the tracker, and the PI has been feeding me. Right now, I don't have a lot of hard evidence because I was trying (really hard) to get evidence on someone who turned out to be innocent. It was a bad play on my part, but can you really blame me?

You literally changed your story from one post to the next.  Your story that you came up with after Newbie said he was the baner.

Why on earth is anyone actually listening to you?

Also, you seem to believe that only the greater wolf can turn.

If that's not the case, mea culpa.  I remember that being the case when I was the greater wolf, and I didn't really notice if it was changed sometime.

I'm working under the assumption that the weretiger has the cloak of invisibility, and basically the only person who can track him down is the PI

I hadn't considered that possibility, I thought that the more scries going around the better. At the very least I was hoping it would hasten a mutually destructive showdown between the wolves and the vamps.

I'm not excited about random lynches, but we've only got one confirmed bad. I can think of two reasons to keep Nex alive: he might leak info about his faction and the fact that he's being a (presumably) mouthpiece for the PI.

I don't know what else to say other than I don't trust Niku (for reasons that are only personal) and I don't like it when players go a whole in-game day without posting.

EDIT:

Yes, this actually puts more votes on me for the saber, but I'm hoping Laser realizes that I'm not being suicidal.  I'm just not going to leave my vote up on someone who the PI allegedly cleared.

I do realise that, but I hope you also realise my reasons for going with the votes, and why I can't just decide not to go through with it. I'll give you as long as I can to change people's minds but right now you are in trouble :(

You could also pull a totally sweet double suicide on Romo like I said, thus absolving yourself from any such worries about being lynched.  The fact that my gut tells me Romo is bad makes me not feel terrible about actually suggesting this.

Incidentally, I totally missed Nex burying the fact that he had the tracker in a parenthetical three pages ago up until he pointed out that he had it again.  That's frankly the only compelling reason I've seen so far for leaving him alive, since it's not as though he's going to be using it to find out who the damn wolves are visiting.

p.s. classic you just don't trust me because I know your terrible dark secret about being an awful player

Because I got them a vampire already, had a reason not to tell everyone that Newbie was the baner, and am actually trying to help them fight the vampires.

I'd be lying if I suggested that a big part of the reason dying is so appealing wasn't just so I won't have to puzzle over this anymore.

Rescinding votes. Gotta think. Since we've got the hammertime, I want to review the thread a bit and ruminate before deciding who I'm voting for.

I actually really wanted to do this, but then I realised that it would really only be super hilarious if he was the weretiger, and then I realised that having Romo win as the weretiger would be the most hilarious outcome of all
