That's out? And I still haven't done the original co-op campaign.

Me neither. PSN went down just after I finished the main game, and I didn't even get a chance to register the Steam version before then, so by the time I was able to play the co-op campaign I forgot about it.

It's really quite... short.

It's really quite... free.

Less glibly, Portal has always been quality over quantity, and I think these are some of the best puzzles, and some of the best GlaDOS lines yet.

not really, there's a context-sensitive "HEY STUPID LOOK AT THIS/MAKE A PORTAL/STAND ON THIS" button on F and you can use Tab to see what your partner sees.

Welp, looks like there's a bug they introduced at some point since launch where you can't put portals on moving panels. The devs seem aware of it and I guess I'll just have to wait till it's fixed to get past the neurotoxin generator.

Game is just delightful so far, however.

haha, when i was doing them with Endril we'd both just mutually boggle at the puzzle presented to us, with me frequently annoying him by directing thermal discouragement beams into his face, until we both got the solution instantly.

In all honesty I wasn't full retard all the time. Just enough of the time to piss Bal off on a regular basis.  :whoops:

Although with the DLC stuff the solve rate was about 40/60!

Me and my Portal Buddy basically either instantly both realized the solution, or would 50/50 as we tried things until something worked or we just froze up in intense concentration, scanning the surroundings.

Then when actually executing the puzzle solution, we would try to get the other guy killed as stealthily as possible. The trick was to be clever, like having a thermal discouragement beam knock somebody off a moving platform: trying to just explode them with a focused beam involved too much time and effort due to the knock-back and gives the victim time to start a tug of war with the cube.

This game is so great. The co-op stuff is incredible. There were moments during it that I couldn't believe that we'd actually figured out the puzzle, and that's just an amazing feeling. The ending of the dlc stuff is incredible.
