That's what worries me the most about it. What innocent today isn't constantly aware of the threat of one bad vote? Yes, it could have just been a rash, poorly thought-out move, but it feels like that vote was made just to be withdrawn.

No votes yet!

I could just vote for him again if you like, and then the vote wouldn't have been made just to be withdrawn.

I'm totally fine with that, actually, but it wouldn't help anything. At this point any actual voting that would is about a 50/50 shot at winning the wolves the game. At least that means I'm not 100% convinced you're a wolf.

Fuck it. My gut instinct is Beat Bandit and Lottel, and this isn't going anywhere. Beat Bandit

Here's the thing. Yesterday Caithness contacted me and ever since we've been planning together and trying to figure this out. What we finally decided on was Lottel was the best bet for the third innocent. After some more deliberation and what's gone on so far today, though, I wouldn't be surprised if we had contacted Nick instead. The point remains that it seems, should there be two wolves, that Nex is one of them. Should there be only one wolf, we have an extra day to work, with tonight giving all the information we both need to make sure tomorrow's vote will end the game.

Obviously this is a risky plan, but based off all the options (and we have spent a lot of time going over them) this is best path.

If we're wrong, I can only say sorry Nex, and good game Lottel and Nick.

Well, fingers crossed, but I am terrified that we may have just lost. Oh well, its too late to do anything about it now.

Alright fellow innos lynch me, but if I'm right and I'm a innocent Lynch Rygaron and Lottel for being completely derp.
I wish we had listened to this man.

Guys, Envy was 1 vote away from dying, and nobody pushed it over. If he is an innocent, then every wolf was probably already on the bandwagon. If he's a wolf, then his partner(s) probably exist within the group of people that didn't vote for him. When we've only got a couple of days to lynch someone, the wolves are probably apt to vote in a bloc like that without worry. Lottel and Beat Bandit were the 2 most bloodthirsty of the Envywagon (hey look they're still voting for him).

Anyone got anything to say about this?

Oh look, it turns out Envy wasn’t a wolf after all. So let’s kill the people who weren’t voting for him, who quite obviously were not wolves!

Unless you’re with Beat Bandit, who would not shut the fuck up about me changing my vote. Oh wait!

I AM THE VOTE CHANGER.
I can change one vote retroactively. i changed nex's vote on day one, which meant that my vote for envy was not the foruth vote, but the fifth, killing him back when i made the post, ignoring all posts after that.

I have a passive power. As long as i am alive, roles are revealed on death.

Okay! So, I didn’t change my vote, just like I’ve been saying! And since I didn’t change my vote, this would mean I didn’t kill Envy (because I didn’t want him to die on day 1, as I’ve been telling you). And since I didn’t kill Envy, and all the wolves exist within the group of people that did kill Envy, it stands to reason that I’m not a wolf!

 :endit:

At this point I’m beginning to think maybe you’re not a wolf, you’re just being stupid. Did you listen to anything I said all game? Any of it at all? If you are innocent, then it means you were too busy talking to a wolfy Caithness to see what’s right in front of you. If you are a wolf, then good job of convincing Caithness to jump on that bandwagon I guess.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Lottel!

You are the Werwolf Alpha. Beat Bandit is your partner.  The Werewolf Alpha can kill each night. This power can only be blocked by the Baner.

Quote
Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Beat Bandit!

You are the Werewolf Human Hunter. Lottel is your werewolf partner. Each night you can scan one person to see if they are the seer OR if anyone has scried them. If you target someone that has been scried, you'll be told three random names of people who didn't scry that person. If you target the seer, you'll be told they're the seer. Nothing can block this power.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Classic!
You are the Paranoid Townie. You win with the town, but believe that if you vote for a friend you'll be damned to eternal sorrow! Luckily you're wrong, but how depressing! Instead of your real role PM, you get this one:

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Classic!

You are the Blood Cultist. You win by being killed by werewolves or voting for nothing but werewolves all game. Voting for an innocent does nothing except prevent you from winning that way.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Caithness!

You are the Baner. Each night, pick a person to protect from werewolf and serial killer kills. Your kill protection is absolute; nothing can block it.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Kayma!

You are The DA. You can pick a target each night to 'mark.' If a 'marked' target does a night action, you are told this, but not what they did or to whom.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Envy!

You are the Last Sane Man. You know that there is no serial killer or seer. Be careful with this information! The lie about a serial killer and seer will be useful for keeping wolves at bay.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, Nickasummers!

You are the Shadow Government. Each day you can pick one vote to change. Nobody will be aware of the change unless they are paying attention. As long as you are alive, roles are revealed upon death.

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Alpha, NexAdruin!

You are the Main Character. Each night, pick a target to see if they are the Serial Killer. If they are, they die and you win. If you don't find the Serial Killer, you win with the town. This power is unblockable.

Lottel and Beat Bandit, the wolves, are victorious. Special mention to NexAdruin for being on the wolves early in the game, and MVP goes to Beat Bandit for being an underhanded, dirty, back-door-dealing manipulator.

Day one, votes for Envy reached 4, but only for a brief window, which Shadow Government used to lynch Envy. Shadow Government may or may not discover that his votes go back to prrrevious days as well as previous posts. That night, the wolves, Alpha attacked Caithness, who protected himself! Kayma marked Nickasummers and saw him futily searching for the Seer (Kayma's role appears to be the seer's power) amidst the likes of Caithness. Somehow, Beat Bandit got freaking everyone to tell him their roles. Beat knew Kayma watched Nicka use a power midway through day 2. Beat Bandit saw that either Classic or Kayma was the DA and got them both killed, then it was a simple matter of getting one inno to vote a wolf today.

Good game, and thanks for playing folks!

Lottel and Beat Bandit are the winners.

If I had to do this over again, I would not have lied to Classic about his role. His role was supposed to be a nerf to the innos to help the wolves spread confusion. This setup was designed to force the players to watch interactions instead of relying on known town power roles or general hope. I feel like I had success, but Classic's role felt wrong to me in practice. The only thing you really can know in Werewolf is your role, and Classic didn't even get that. So... sorry Classic.

This game did help me figure out that I don't like allowing communication behind the scenes. It's too powerful for an overactive player to be able to do. Future games I run won't allow outside communication.

I keep coming back to the fact that the wolves simply outmatched the town this game. It was close! On D1 when Nex was screaming about a Lottel/Beat team, I was SURE the wolves were done! I'm sure they were at least a little nervous!

That's cool. It'd have made more sense in a larger game, maybe? The idea of having aspects of your role be unknown isn't a bad one, nor is having victory conditions be unknown. We functionally have that in the big wolfpire games.

What I've learned is that I mostly need to stick to my guns in these games. In VvW8 I was close to killing the weretiger and instead he won because everyone just sort of stopped caring once he had the teddy bear, and in this game I voted for Kayma for... I don't know what reason. But I should have kept harping about Lottel/Beat, since I always thought they were the wolves.

You said that after voting for Nicka(?) and in a game I was playing in, I'd have forced you to vote them or explain why Nicka was more wolfy than Lottel/Beat. It was weird to me! Then again I often to eccentric things in these, so w/e. You may just have easily been wrong IDK, but I've noticed you're at least not BAD at this, which is better than I can say for myself. I also felt Lottel and Beat were being obvious teammates, but then again I had extra perspective, so I'm biased and can't rely on my view.

Beat did very little to me feel he was a wolf, but i paired them up early on on gut feeling and i was sure lottel was a wolf. But I wasnt sure how to convince anyone else of that. I think if i had pushed as hard to lynch lottel as i really wanted to id have lynched myself. They did a bad job of isolating themselves from eachother but the fact that beat didnt look wolfy is most of the reason i was never totally convinced it wasnt caith+nex
