Beat the game. 90% Completion straight away. All I have left is assassinations, challenges, carjackings and collectibles. 26 hours of game play to get to this point. With all I listed there I've got another, maybe. 4-8 hours just for 100% Completion. Which is completely possible in this game. That will also give me all the money I need to purchase every upgrade now that I'm at Respect level 50.

The game is great! Except don't buy it full price if you can avoid it. Wait until it's at least 33% off, If not 50% off.

I'm unsure how I feel about the DLC. I kind of want it, but I don't know if it'd be worth it.

So I did the other mission, there's no way to go back and do the other ones to get all the rewards? Lame. Or even play the other missions again? That's just a fucking step backwards.
I would have picked Apocofist given the choice again. And Jetbike + Tank mk2 on the carrier mission, not the demo charges.
Hopefully some enterprising man will figure out how to unlock all of the items from the start.

It actually kind of pisses me off the more I dwell on it. It should unlock all of those choice missions at the end of the game to do them again and do the other choice, just to see the outcome. Or maybe something along the lines of a NG+, where you keep your character/upgrades/completed activities/store purchases, but simply reset the story/missions.

I figure eventually we'll see a save game editor or something along those lines to unlock every last thing in the game..
Or probably DLC.
But until then I'm just super annoyed.

I also forgot to grab a screengrab of my character on the news on that final mission:
The one where you announce the sovereign state and it has "MURDEROUS PSYCHOPATH" as your title on the news frame.
The big problem with everything is that the Boss should be able to get EVERYTHING.

I guess I'll go for 100% completion and hope that gives it to me or something. I'm already at 95%

Oh hey look 100%.

Assassination, Car Thefts, and challenges don't count towards the total. Nor does having every upgrade. (I'm about 300k short of having every character upgrade. And who knows how much short of having every weapon upgrade)

you haven't done the mission where holding out for a hero plays yet

Saints Row 3 might have some serious length and replay concerns, but god fucking damn if it isn't the most fun you will have while it lasts.

Oh hey here is a mod that lets you replay missions. Turns out modders made the game better after all.

It also lets you customize any vehicle you can get into the garage.

I was kind of annoyed when the game makes you play all the diversions early on even after I messed around before playing the mission, but otherwise this game is Da Bomb.

Tried out some modding. Unlocked Temporary Weapons are pretty fun. Unlimited hammer is just a great time. Gang Plus One is pretty great just for straight up customization. All mods are pretty slick to install as well.

Gentlemen of Steelport is required.

Genkibowl is a little bit disappointing in terms of content, but it gives you a ton of rewards, including a new way to base jump. Myself and the Genki Girls on the town after I finished becoming champion of the Genkibowl. This definitely feels like a mid-game DLC to cap off the Genki stuff and give you a slew of toys to play with while you finish the story. The speech you give when you win is fucking classic.

Played through Genkibowl with Bal just to knock it out. The diversions were cool but it felt lacking substance overall. It's those annoying missions-that-are-really-activities that you do for your homies when you first get them. The rewards were plentiful at least - I just hope that future DLCs have more actual missions. First time playing co-op - the netcode feels slightly better than SR2 at least!
