Do you have to actively pilot that, or just leave your character on board while it circles or whatever?

I'm assuming you have to actually pilot it, otherwise people wouldn't be so mad?

It's basically 5 hours where you can do nothing else, more or less. You can innately move faster than any vehicle in the game, as well as shoot lasers from your hands and hulkstomp. None of this can be done on a vehicle, so it is pretty much five hours of bullshit, when every other challenge revolves around "Do some fun shit with a specific gun/power"

Does it have to be in a row or just total? A lot of games have the "so many miles total" achievement.
Not saying that's not probably a mistake but

It's total. But you really don't use vehicles a lot in this game with the other things that are granted to you, so you will still probably need to make up for it by flying around at the end of the game. It goes in stark contrast to more reasonable or fun achievements like "shatter 30 frozen bad guys" or "kick 10 aliens in the balls" that come around during normal play anyway.

For the record, don't do co-op if you like having a un-fucked save file until they patch it.

Yeah, vehicles and weapons feel like they were shoved in wholesale from SR3, which is an interesting way to reuse assets to make a game feel bigger than its core gameplay.

SR4's humor is more densely packed, although the Boss' lines are still flatter than a pancake. Gameplay wise I really like the Warden fights and wish they were a bit tighter: jumping from building to building trading attacks is much cooler than being knocked into a corner and just chipping away at the monster's health.

One thing I don't get is why captured things turn blue instead of Saints purple.

Proper contrast to red is all I got.
